Grooves from Cameroon: Bikutsi

  • Playing some Bikutsi! It's also a specific dance originating around what is now the city of Yaoundé. There is such a wealth of rhythm from West Africa, this one coming from Cameroon. I first heard this groove from Brice Wassy's and Mokhtar Samba's work with Jean-Luc-Ponty and Salif Keita.
