    I have the original quick cut and after about four years it's still going strong. Purchased from Amazon on a warehouse deal it arrived brand spanking new, sealed undamaged box. Cost me about £24. It has paid for itself a thousand times over. I used to go to the barber and pay £8 for a number one cut and I used to give the barber a £2 tip as well. Saved me a small fortune.

    I’m getting this. I do not like the “shiny skin” look of a wet shave on the head, but I do like having a buzz cut all over which I can then blend into my longer beard. This was a no brainier for achieving this look. I’ll buzz my head every Saturday (or if it’s really quick, I may even do twice per week!)

    I've got the OG Remington Pro I and so far no other shaver has even come close to its speed ease-of-use. Even for facial hair, as long as you aren't trying to go for any super clean, sharp-edged look, you can make quick work of it.

    I’ve got the old version of this and it’s a decent shaver and really nice to use though generally I prefer a bit of a closer shave on the head as you said so usually use it as a facial trimmer. It’s good though if I want a quick buzz cut with a bit of “fluff” on my head though!

    Hey Harry, love your vids! Quick shoutout for all the past help. My confidence is taking a hit lately-I'm 28, 5'6", went bald with SMP. Used to do quite well with women when I had hair, but now I'm a bit off my game. Do you have any tips or maybe looking to make a vid on boosting self-confidence? Appreciate it!

    • @Baldcafe
      @Baldcafe  5 місяців тому

      Yeah I’m going to do a few vid relating to this later in the year for sure. Quickly though my view is you must persist long enough to collect wins and evidence to be confident in yourself again. Things have changed fit you. The shaved head is one thing but actually I argue that the drop in confidence is far more impactful. Body language, taking less chances just general aura etc can all be way off when confidence is down.

    I didn't know there was a Pro version out! It's always interesting to see all these review videos, that's what made me get Quick Cut two years ago, and it's cool to see there are others who also did :) I think it works like a charm, though I wouldn't complain getting a closer cut. This seems like it's very much the same. I do wet shaving for a closer cut every now and then, but prefer using clippers because of how fast it is.

    Did you see the video covering the study of tightening scalps - and then exact area that goes bald is the exact same as the area that tightens due to muscles on the side of the head? When you raise your eyebrows you can see the exact line from forehead wrinkles to border of the tight scalp. If massage was the easy fix we all missed (to decrease tension and increase blood flow), I'll be pissed! Haha. Still staying badass bald for now!

    Guy in the video should be using a comb on his mustache and then cutting the long, uneven hairs. Otherwise he'll be looking in the mirror that night or days later and either using hair clippers, scissors or an electric shaver to clip the unruly bits. I learned to smile in the mirror, until your top lip becomes straight, use the electric clippers on the top of your mustache so it lines up straight w/ the clippers, easiest way to trim vs. trying to do the 45 degree circle thing and keep going back. Only took 5-6 years to learn and being high and having to write it down, fake smile, make sure top lip is straight, cut w/ clippers, less work, comb, chop off extra hairs, come back in 2 weeks. Ha ha. Much love from Portland Oregon.

      that sucks a lot! I don't understand why companies suddenly make the combs out of soft plastic. I used to have remington clippers and I was abroad. I packed my stuff, went back home by plane, unpacked and a few teeth from two combs broke. Couldn't use them properly anymore while cutting my hair. It is such a pain.

      The lowest guard says 1.5mm so I think with no guard it might be a little less but about that. I don’t know of anything similar to this on the market that could possibly do 0.1mm

    The guy in the video should shave his armpits. Nothing better than freshly shaved pits, feels so good. I'm a hairy dude, so shaved chest, legs every few weeks is a must. So much easier to dry off after coming out of the shower and feels much better in hot weather, if you're prone to B.O. or wearing pants. If I don't shave my hairy legs, it feels like I'm wearing a blanket. Same as you would do for a dog in the summer, clip the extra hair off to cool them off!

      Cuts as close as a regular pair of hair clippers. For many that is plenty but for razor shavers it won't be.
