Good to see a new series of videos. It would be nice to see some tips like: Clean all the parts to remove protective chemicals and dirt from the packaging. Soak the ends of the hose in hot water to help when you are connecting it to the pipes and tap. Make sure to prime the filter before turning it on.
Hello, set the desired target temperature by pressing the pushbutton briefly. Pressing once = increase by 1°C. When the desired target temperature is set, wait until the indicator blinks again. Then press and hold the pushbutton for approx 3 seconds in order to store the desired target temperature.
I have the professional 3 and I got it around 10 years ago but... the switch to close of water flow in and out the tubes for removing them for cleaning the filters has broken off, with time it got harder and harder to switch it until it broken off.. imagen the struggle now to turn it on and off.. Next to that I can't do any maintenance on the motor as from day 1 I haven't been able to screw the cap open to access the motor propeller. it's stuck not even able to open it with ticking it with a hammer without damaging it. by now the sound it makes is unbearable and for years it have been struggle to make it stop being loud as it didn't sucked the air bubbles out by itself after a cleaning. it basically started after cleaning fine and then after some minutes the noise comes and the struggle begins to remove the air from the pomp. today I just unplugged it as whatever I did it was making only more sound while the water was flowing fine. this is my third eheim pomp in the 20 years of having a aquarium. I wish they last longer and are easier to do the maintenance and cleaning.
@@eheim thank you for replying.. my previous comment was written in frustration after struggling for hours with the professional 3 filter 🤭. I bought a new one the 4 with a thermostat inside by now and bought the maintenance spray as well in the hope it avoids these issues and the filter last longer than my previous one. I will write a email to ask what the issue is with my old filter so I can avoid it with the new one as I probably did something wrong and a little maintenance could probably have rescued this filter.
Liebes eheim Team ich bin von diesem Filter mehr als enttäuscht,mit eurer Sparsamkeit an den Zubehörteilen,fangt ihr langsam an zu übertreiben, Schläuche sind extrem kurz,Einlauf und auslauf ist das billigste was ihr anbieten könnt,habe teile von meinem alten Filter anbauen müssen das ich den Filter überhaupt anschließen konnte!nicht jeder hat ein eheim Aquarium das alles passt.von der Filterleistung ganz zu schweigen,obwohl ich schon versuchte die Filtermaterialien zu ändern,hat aber leider nicht wesentlich was gebracht.da war mein alter ehrlich gesagt wesentlich besser(andere Marke)hoffe ihr Lest das und überlegt euch, ob ihr eventuell was daran verbessern könntet,nicht ich verliere meinen Ruf,sondern ihr!
Tried Eheim pro 4+ just today. After seting it up and connecting as per instructions, the filter never started to move water. Only advice from Importer to Czech republic - Juvel, was to suck as much water with my mouth from the exit hose. Thank God I had an old spare chinese filter which started working immediately. Summary : Dont waste your time and money on this sh*t product which comes with sh*t customer service.
Don’t you have anyone in your team who can speak in english and make these videos more interactive and interesting? Better if you demonstrate the installation with live aquarium.

Très mauvais filtre. La pièce rouge où l'on appuie pour sortir les tuyaux casse. A ne surtout pas acheter.

Absolute rubbish....there are so many videos about the primers not working and everyone sucking on the pipe....terrible product.
