I loved this game. A LOT. ...and to prove how much I loved it, I only found this video by trying to find the Ship Battle theme, just to listen to for old times sake. And it still kicks ass today!
The most infuriating thing is getting the hydra down to 3000 health, forgetting to heal and being shot down by the Hydra cannon and having to start all over again.
So, he can use more than one in a turn. Like, so both Aika and Gilder can use Arcwhale Torpedoes in the same four-block turn. If you notice, after an attack is selected, it's greyed-out for the rest of the turn.
I think that was to intensify the battle with the Hydra,like,"HA!You think those puny ships can stop me-oh crap that thing's huge." And the Moonstone Cannon is powered by a Shoop Da Whoop.IMMA FIRIN MAH LAZAR BWAAAAAH
**blinks at the first use of the Moon Cannon and notices the *tiny smidget the HP bar went down after 25k damage** ...Woah. Crazy ship battle. None of the ones before this compare. Also... where'd Soltis go? It disappeared for this battle. XD
Using Drill is just making these fight way to easy when it is already impossible to lose if you don't fuck around... That is why i never use the Moonstone Cannon or Drill and only take these boss down with my cannon and Torpedo. ^^
