I’m the first comment in the past 6 years btw this was helpful visually I’m trying out for my high schools idk what it called anymore and need all the help I can get and I’m trying out sometime at the end of the month.
@ThePJWagner No I am not, my friend Matt is. He's been there since 09 and last year was my first year. But when dealing with cymbals(I think) the section leader shouldn't be in the center. The section leader should be on the end. Because lots of visuals and ripples begin at the end of the line, so therefore the end cymbal needs to be strongest mentally. Because you're on the opposite of the section leader or in the middle doesn't represent your skill. It's not setup like a snareline
Logan Sowell can you make a video for beginners because I can't understand what you are trying to teach me. I have Meinl cymbals and they are 18" and I use bandannas and I want to be able to flip in and out with control and flip up in the air and flip with both hand to the side. I would really appreciate the help please.
good stuff!
