    Great Job as usual Scott. I do love our state. We have a long history of good, bad, interesting and weird things. I also love that we have all 4 seasons as well. I appreciate all your hard work, keep up the Great Work!!!!

      In my first video I identified that fact. I love Pennsylvania because we have all 4 seasons and they all last exactly 3 months each. PERFECTION.

    I live in Bethlehem PA. I hope Coplay cement company is in here and Thomas iron works. Coplay cement was first Portland cement co. In USA and Thomas iron works was the first to utilize Coal fired kilns instead of charcoal fired. The atlas cement corp sent cement mix to the Panama canal. And 1 of the Lehigh valley cement companies plant 4 and 5 and 7 sent Portland cement to Washington DC for building monuments. Also Lehigh coal and navigation companys canal from carbon county to philly. I livr in Bethlehem but went to Northampton and am a proud KonKrete Kid. Look up Lehigh valley. I love PA.

    Great video keep it coming got some facts myself I researched over the last 2 years
    First movie theater in the United States was named Nickelodeon located in Pittsburg PA, Shankweiler's Drive-In Theatre is the oldest in all the United States and Still active to this day originally opened in 1934, Bubble Gum was invented in Philidelphia as well as the first Gas Station. Most noted "Bethlehem Steel" built more things used by citizens and structures that still stand to this day some few mentions The Golden Gate Bridge as well as Hoover Dam, 92% of all the skyscrapers in Chicago and NYC and speak of NYC most famous building of all the Chrystler building all Built by Bethlehem Steel. Oldest Roller Coaster in the US known as Leap-The-Dips 1902 Altoona PA still active.
    Fun Fact for you the first Pennsylvania Dutch Amish settlers that came to United States lived in Allentown PA before moving to Lancaster County or heading out to Ohio as Allentown has a lot of groundwork doings with the Amish still around and active to this day. The Liberty Bell was hidden in a Church basement at 622 West Hamilton Street in Allentown as well played a central role inspiring the American Revolution, General George Washington and his Continental Army staff stayed in Allentown for weeks at a time as the War progressed.

    • @ODDySEEy
      @ODDySEEy  6 місяців тому +1

      I have Zippo/Case on my list. That will come with a trip to the museum and maybe hitting the Drake Well, etc. It is just one of those sites that sits all by itself in the middle of nowhere. Kinda like Corning or Woolworths. And my word, the Philly stuff I had planned on doing for this season is just waiting to burst out... but going into the city of brotha'ly luv is just a totally unsafe trip to make. (and that is coming from someone who live 3/4 of his life IN the city)

    It is difficult to find precision on size of PA economy of Y'ore.
    I have heard it was from 1st to 6th biggest worldwide at some point 100+ years ago.

    • @ODDySEEy
      @ODDySEEy  4 місяці тому +1

      The only argument we can have about PA back in the day is that it WAS THE BIGGEST of ALL the colonial economies and US economy when they found COAL and IRON up to the end of using COAL and IRON. Which is quite the span of history in the US. Then it all just went away and became a Wilderness Vacation State with two cities that are grinding its financial and societal well being into oblivion.

      That is one of those really cool things about PA. You have history that goes all the way back to even BEFORE the LeneLenape/Susquehannocks/OhioValley Natives they you pass on a regular basis and have NO IDEA that it is even there, right in front of you. PA is great.

    Will #46, be the birth place of the 46th President of the United States?
    Look forward to additional videos on facts of Pennsylvania.

    • @ODDySEEy
      @ODDySEEy  6 місяців тому +2

      Fortunately, when he turned 10 his family dipped out of PA due to bankruptcy and moved in with family down in the ghetto of Clayton, Delaware. Meaning, he grew up in Delaware, not PA. So I will NOT be including the worst president, but will eventually do a video on the NOW 2nd worst president Buchannan at some point. IF, I can keep my political beliefs OUT of the script. (so far I have written 5 scripts for Buchannan... all trashed because I got political... no worries, I will work through it and give him what he deserves, historically)

      @@ODDySEEy Yes, it's very challenging to write about politicians without being political. I was being some what sarcastic with my question; another challenge trying to write comments without having auto text/auto correct change what you want to write.
