Japan is attractive to a lot of French people as France is one of the biggest consumer of Japanese culture (2nd market in the Manga/Anime sector, 1st one is... Japan). So that's mainly why a lot of foreign students in Japan are French

To anyone stuck with their learning here's a tip. Write down (in romanji to make it easy) all of this script into a notepad, and then for 20 minutes of every day read the whole thing out loud and then try 5 times to say the whole thing without looking at the pad. Repeat this process and soon enough you have leaned how to say quite a number of things. It's working well for me so far.

I personally found it better to write it out in Hiragana and then pronounce it from there. So that way I'm always using characters that I will actually see in Japanese.
To learn a foreign language well you need to get away from your native language as fast as possible
