Seems the secret language of trees is at work here. My trees are also beginning to bud out earlier than expected. They are in communication. Thanks for another video.
Those roots looked even more tangled than my Hazel. Good job getting them under control. I love Mimosa. My parents had a huge one in the front yard when I was growing up, and I always looked forward to the silky flowers in spring. Then of course, I had to sow the seeds. Too bad I didn’t save any of the trees, or maybe they died when I left for college. There’s one at the post office in town that I am going to raid next fall for seed pods.
It's interesting how trees and plants can sense what's going on, even in an artificial environment. I kinda equate that with knowing what time it is, day or night (without looking it up). I'd say we're all connected to the Earth... Even if we're not physically attached to it.
i agree. im starting a mimosa from seed and ive observed that, by 9pm, it begins to close whether i keep the light on or not. Its only been growing for a couple weeks.
Is it an Albizia Julibrissin (Persian Silk tree) Nigel? I have one too. I confirm it's a strong grower and pretty resistant to manipulation and has very nice leaves and flowers! Mine has not flowered yet, it's in the same stage as yours ;-)
your soil mix would it be good for using on different houseplant speices , and do u fertilize every watering ,or only when your starting to see real vigorus growth?
If I may ......Nigel uses this soil mix for ALL his trees and succulents. It is well draining so great for houseplants as long as you keep up the watering when it's hot. Hope that helps😊
👍 for real natural style of your trees. I very like your no wiring methode.

Its always interesting to see the roots for the first time
Always an informative video on root pruning. This tree will have a nice root growth and will grow nice come spring.
Wow that root system reveal!
