    I like how it gives you more dedicated sleeping space without sacrificing living space. My family could use this easily. And heated mattresses give these unit appeal.

    Don’t let Smokey Bear know that you like to watch the fire while your in the camper going to sleep.
    When I was in Scouts we was always told to put are fires out before we go to bed. Hopefully you have someone tending the fire while your dozing off to sleep.
    Those hybrids are neat & I like the hybrid toy haulers. Not only there good to haul your bikes & quads there also useful to haul other things like if your moving.

    My in laws use to have a hybrid. They are nice but you need to make and unmake the bed each time you camp and when it rains you need to open up to dry so you don't end up with mold. Nice for the size but have some disadvantages too.

    Interesting concept of adding sleeping areas to a trailer and still have space to move around.
    Now hybrids come with slide outs and extra fold away beds…. An entertainment center?

      We LOVE our Hybrid. The current one is our 2nd. We downsized to a 16’ Hybrid when the kids were grown and out of the house. We use the “back” bed as a at site storage area by removing and storing the mattress. It’s a very handy place to store telescope, extra clothing, whatever else while not in travel mode. We’ve never understood why we don’t see more of these great versatile campers. If bad weather or parking lot boondocking, we don’t put the hybrid beds out, but use the table bed. But when stationery, the hybrid feature gives lots of extra room without having to deal with a bigger actual trailer.

  • @roannathephoenix8561
    @roannathephoenix8561 2 роки тому +2

    My main problem with hybrids are if it rains during your trip you really need to make sure those pop outs are thoroughly dried out. Otherwise you're going to have mold. The same with camping under a tree that might have sap. Just more possibly for problems.

    I really like the hybrid trailers because like you said there's really nothing better than tents camping but physically it hurts for us older Folk. Plus it'll be a lot easier to sell my fiance on longer-term camping if she can use a real shower. One potential drawback however is I would assume that a lot of state parks or national forests would not allow this camper because doesn't have hardside walls all the way around which I think would be a problem correct? correct?

    • @RVBlogger
      @RVBlogger  Рік тому +1

      As a general rule they are not prohibited but there are some National Parks that wil not allow soft sided campers...bear country! One good thing about Hybids is that you can still sleep without opening sleeper tents...maybe just convert dinette etc.

  • @jamesmerkel9442
    @jamesmerkel9442 2 роки тому +2

    Call them class E hybrids light easy to drive w/roof top tent on & best of 3+seasons to use as hybid tent room, or more living push/slide out sleep on floor or tri coach, or in SUV during tunoado possible bit of 4th season w/right truck/car more like SUV. u move to season music, high low or mid nope going up top space age tent fabric. Cold near floor hot rises, wind blow free thru the tent, east coast hurricane mostly on this 5th world pentagone earth. Not as bad as a D class slide in camper w/o axle too for jeeping but family NOW.

    52: I hve not seen any 1 hve a 2story traier hybrid bc hot air rises, more bank for buck like a great high low easy tow trailer meets roo, they hve a baby & it is a 2story version of the 2. Meaning a roof camper style pop up if weather nice or if cold heat rises. Only hve space age fabric wear it is cold, & key if only hve roo tent like fold out open if weather is tent nice, or slide out side living change to night time cold or hot mode. It is best of a tent, best of a hybrid, best of a roof top tent, & u hve kitchen sofa & full bath, easily towed. Had to finish the 1 sided discussion online for rest of ppl.

    Stupid question from someone who has only ever been in a trailer once as a child. If you are not at a park with hookups where does the power come from? Generator? Just wondering how the USB ports etc work.

    • @RVBlogger
      @RVBlogger  2 роки тому

      Hey BadassUnicorn,
      If you're not somewhere with hookups, it would be like boondocking or dry camping. Power can either come from a generator..... or no power :) Make sure you pack water if you're dry camping!

    I subscribed to your channel almost a year ago, because I was just getting into RVing, and have found the content very helpful, I've learned a lot, thank you. However, one recommendation...it looks like almost every video you have posted over the last 6 - 8 months are just reviews of new campers, instead of info about RVing. I already have my RV, so I'm not in the market for one, so most of these videos are not relevant to me. I'd like to see more useful content for people who already own an RV, especially newbies. Right now, it's just a string of info-mercials about campers I'm not going to buy because I already own one. I really learned a lot from your earlier informational videos, so please do more of those. I know a lot of people are viewing these reviews also, so maybe a mix? Thanks!
