Good point buddy and good news for the upgrade. Most systems love dual ram configuration but I think you were rocking 8 GB single stick so in a way even if you had the same ram but in dual channel like with 2 sticks of 4 Gb's each you would have still had more performance then stock.Anyway you can still find laptops rocking 16 GB's of single channel RAM and that a cost cutting method for manufacturers that actually sucks and hurts your performance as an end consumer and that sucks.Good upgrade buddy, cheers!
Really nice and helpful video. If you can please do a video on how Shared GPU memory plays a role along with Dedicated GPU memory in Gaming performance.
Really informative video thanks brother, i wanted to ask you can i add a 16gb to the 8gb original, or its better to have 2x16gb, and is it ok to buy them separately (not in the same kit of 32gb 2x16gb) but the same brand because my local suppliers sell only 16gb same brand but separate
Hi man, well always more ram is better but beware this laptop takes a max of 32gb in total and the high recommendation is to buy it in a kit as this will give you the best performance.Surely you can add different mistmached sticks but if you want to be assured you dont have any issues its always best to buy them in a kit.Eg 2x16 sticks = 32 total.so no matter what you do dont mix the original 8 gb with another 16gb ram stick as the overall performance will run at the slowest speed of the slowest installed stick of ram.You can buy a 16gb stick at 3200MHz but if the one inside the machine runs at slower then this, then you system will run at the slowest speed of the original ram stick.Cheers buddy and hope this was helpfull.Enjoy your new toy 😉

Hi buddy, well I'm glad you are thinking of getting the 3050 variant but I dont think that the CPU will be a bottleneck. You could just get the 11th gen and upgrade the RAM to something running faster then what comes standard with this laptop and squeeze more fps out of you games that way for a longer period of time then to actually get the 12th gen CPU that wont do much in terms of performance with this GPU.Surely if you plan to do more with your laptop then just games, then a 12th gen CPU might be better as it will perform better and so you will get better battery life and better performance with CPU intensive tasks such as editing but otherwise just stick with the 11th gen.Hope this helps out bud,Cheers
