nice work again. Indeed, I once had that problem too, a lambda probe should not be at the end of an exhaust (will read too poor). You could get rid of the steering pump by mounting the front suspension and steering rack of a rallye ph2 without power steering. Saves some weight too (although that's not an issue with 200+ hp :-)
I did think about non PAS but the low speed weight of the steering is already annoying me so I'm glad I've persisted with it. Might go to ePAS in the long run but for now this works.
I used a dremel to put a small 1mm wide groove round the surfaces on the cam carriers and covers for the silicone to seal into. If you’ve still got a leak after filing the tabs off might be worth doing.
Love the videos I’m waiting every week for the new one. Currently restoring a 106 quiksilver and fitting a lighter flywheel soon. Does yours have that?
Has that WAS lump motor got a planetary gearbox on it? Looks like a big lump to be just motor. Could the gearbox (if it's got one) need an oil/grease change? Could be worth a check before forking out for a new motor?
Great video as always
The 300 on the Saxo may just be a bit more badass than the 2000 on the Supra haha
Loving it! Cheers
Great work, getting through the list well
