I've bought from StockX a few times in the past but after the data breach I was out. Now after all the videos of so many fakes getting thru and Nike calling them out, I'm definitely never using them again. I also hate how they're used to determine "market" when it's been proven how shady a business they run. I'm strictly a GOAT user. I've had very little issues with them and even with the "higher lower asks" they still even out to StockX prices cause they don't charge all the fees.
I think StockX is fine, I believe that a lot of the talk is like anything on the internet people just snowballing on the bad news. A lot of the fake claims are made in a way of not protecting consumers by bringing awareness, but by clout chasing.
Its the fact that there’s pending litigation from Nike themselves proving that StockX has sold fake versions of their shoes and passed it off as legit. They were supposed to be able to verify ALL of their shoes, if even one slips through the cracks then it’s an integrity issue.
You don't think GOAT, Flight and Stadium Goods don't have fakes??? It isn't on purpose but things happen and if they can't tell then not one person on the street will either.

TL:DR: I bought sneakers on SX, didn't tell me when I'd get a refund from the seller when I asked, and didn't answer my first customer ticket, but answered the second the same day I got a refund. I know my sample size is incredibly low (a single purchase), but my SX experience as of last week did not go well for me. I linked with a seller, and was completely left in the dark from the 18th to the 23rd as to what happened with my order. The seller never even made a shipping label. The issue is not my lack of patience, but the sneakers in question went up 20 bucks in this time. Additionally, I hit up SX's customer service to ask about when they would give me a refund, I never got a reply. I had to send a second ticket before I got a response, and that was on the same day that the seller ran out of time to ship the sneakers and got a refund anyway.
So I’ve just recently bought some Adidas Campus 80’s Towelie edition from stockx as I thought they were a good purchase, however I’ve just today started seeing how stockx is supposedly selling fakes. My shoes still have to arrive so if anyone with experience with this specific shoes or adidas shoes in general can tell me if stockx can be trusted on this type of stuff please let me know🙏
I’d love to be a StockX fan! But based on my first purchase, it’s taken a week just for shoes I purchased to get from the seller to StockX…and it’s still not even there yet! At this rate it’ll take a month to get a pair of shoes. That’s crazy. No one wants their money out there like that. And No one wants to wait that long for something they’ve already paid for. So it leaves a really bad taste.
Another thing I don’t like about stock x is whenever I purchase a sneaker it takes me threw so many screens where they add on taxes and shipping . When compared to goat stock Xs tax is far more.
@@joshuapartain5712 bruh StockX is way worse pricing than goat. StockX also puts the taxes and fees at the end before buying. I’ve also know friends who gotten fakes from StockX. Most goat sneakers are less than StockX. You could also get preowned on goat.
I order a Jordan 3 International flight and have been waiting for them for more then 4 days and they are still saying that the seller has to sand the shoe and before that I ordered the Jordan one dark mocha and they got canceled after the authentication part and I haven't gotten my money back, but sometimes I think about using goat even though they are a little more expensive
I hate stockx because of bugged asks, hidden fees, asks tab which on mobile shows global asks and on desktop it shows nothing (for example aj4 military black), you can easily block buying and selling on any shoe you want and support does nothing about it, and shipping costs. For me actually alias is best in EU. Klekt is also fine but selling shoes is sometimes so slow.
Hi man, i would like to ask you. I am selling dunks on Stockx and i have the lowest ask, but i keep seeing the same size selling for more, than is my lowest ask. Why would someone buy them for 277 euros, when my ask is 266? Thank you
I will say I no longer really have faith or confidence in StockX after two experiences. One of which I previously commented on another video. Most recently, I ordered a pair of 700 V2 Statics and received an empty box with no shoes in it. I did some detective work and found out that StockX sent me a package weighing less than 2 pounds. I'm confused as to how you could verify a pair of shoes and forget to put the shoes in the box? How would you not notice that? Luckily I was eventually refunded but it took 5 full days. The fact that receiving an empty box or a pair of fakes is such a common thing with StockX has wiped out any normal experience I've had with them.
I always feel like until you buy for retail, you can never be 100% that your shoes are authentic. That being said, I’m sure u have a much better chance getting real vs buying direct off re-sellers.
I recently tried stock X for the first time and I've been struggling to reach customer support about canceling my order. My only experience with stock X is having a seller refuse to send the shoes
A lot of my sneakers have been purchased over Stock X & Goat. Some sneakers on Stock X are cheaper than Goat. I purchased a pair of 11’s from Stock X. I got an email saying that it did not pass the authentication process and I was able to get my money back.
I ran a credit scan through experian and dark web hits came from stockx. Ever since I’ve seen that I’m afraid of that site. It’s tempting cuz the prices are a little bit better but I’d much MUCH rather pay the extra price with flight/goat

Opened a box from stockx supposed to be the 1 og high true blue. Jordan box contained a dirty pair of very worn white air max 270's. The shipping box looked tampered with, so maybe FedEx guy just wanted to trade up....
I stopped using stockx after I bought a pair of Jordan 1s and they came in with the left shoes toebox discolored. I asked for a refund, they granted after i sent photos of the shoes confirming the problem and that they were still DS, I sent the shoes back within an our of receiving them, and after they got them back, they denied my return and sent the shoes right back to me. They claimed it was because they were not returned in DS condition, (“the nike logo on the insole was scratch off”) . A total blatant lie. After I contacted customer service they then gave me a different excuse. They then told me that it was because the discolored toebox was a “manufacturer defect”. The discoloration was so bad I didn’t want to wear them or resell them. Just don’t want to deal with that anymore. StockX can keep it.
Stock x is normally used to see markets prices. I use it as a reference and not a place to buy or sell anymore. Klekt, eBay, laced are the places I use to buy or sell. eBay is the best cause you get see pictures before you buy it.
This is a huge problem for people like me who don’t know anything about sneakers, we just buy them. So where am I supposed to buy sneakers from ? I mean how can I pay that much money for sneakers and be 100% sure theyre not fakes ? There is not a single site/app where people like me can buy from and not get scammed, I wouldnt even know if they are fake or not.
Copped 3 pairs of jordans off StockX for under retail. All were authentic and came in about a week. I probably wouldn’t spend too much on a sneaker on stockx since there’s a chance it can be fake, so for sneakers over $250 I stick to local meetups or consignment shops.
If it has "Verified Authentic" or "Condition: New" Does that mean it's legit? or does it say that to make u buy stuff. Because I'm tryna get a pair of basketball shoes on StockX but I don't really know anymore.
I see a lot of people recommending GOAT. I’ve been kind of reluctant to use GOAT because someone I know used it bought something from the US and had to pay high shipping fees. What is Goat like for people who live in the UK? Do you have to pay high shipping fees or do they also have shoes coming from Europe as well.
The biggest problem Stockx is facing, is its intrasparent pricing and stuff. You do not understand why higher priced shoes sell and yours dont. This is a big issue for new users.
Bought 20+ pairs from stockX not one was fake. How do I know? Because I resold them thru other platforms and they have all passed authenticity. Bunch of people I feel like just don’t know enough about shoes and when they hear stories they just assume everything is fake.

@@WristWhipGameFlawless got sent some 2016 black toe knock offs from StockX and that was the last straw with them, done.
As always great content Elliot, keep up the good work sir👍🏾
🙏👊
I personally haven’t got a fake pair yet out of the 3 I have purchased but to me to worse part about StockX is all there wild fees.
Yo i got a question
Luckily I haven’t had issues with stockx! Great video as always bro!
Goat has been caught selling fakes as well. I wouldn't bet on them at all
@@WondererFree every third party sneaker company will let some fakes get thru. Not as bad as StockX though.
I’m just not gonna get my panda dunks 😭
I think StockX is fine, I believe that a lot of the talk is like anything on the internet people just snowballing on the bad news. A lot of the fake claims are made in a way of not protecting consumers by bringing awareness, but by clout chasing.
There also seems to be a huge difference between EU and US when it comes to returns, customer service etc.
@@roarbahamut9866 which is better?
Its the fact that there’s pending litigation from Nike themselves proving that StockX has sold fake versions of their shoes and passed it off as legit. They were supposed to be able to verify ALL of their shoes, if even one slips through the cracks then it’s an integrity issue.
You don't think GOAT, Flight and Stadium Goods don't have fakes??? It isn't on purpose but things happen and if they can't tell then not one person on the street will either.
@@jonknestrick5219 agreed
I’ve used StockX twice before.
Once to buy Mummy Dunks for Myself.
And got Strawberry Milk Dunks 4 Mom.
Triple checked the pairs. Both Real.
I do use eBay & GOAT way more tho.
And after all these scandals I deftly won’t be using StockX till everything is figured out & till they put an effort into changing their system.
In the end of the day something has got to be done. This can’t continue.
I had to send a second ticket before I got a response, and that was on the same day that the seller ran out of time to ship the sneakers and got a refund anyway.
this video is so well made bruv. love your channel my G.
I sold a pair of sneakers like 9 months ago and I haven’t been paid yet not selling sneakers in that platform anymore!
The price of the sneakers overall on StockX is low and I also find this to be false
@@joshuapartain5712 stockx burner found
@@joshuapartain5712 bruh StockX is way worse pricing than goat.
How long does it take for them to authentic and pay you? My Yeezy just arrived there yesterday and curious..thank you!
Thank you
I just cancelled my StockX order. Thanks for the video.
When the hack happened i was 15 and when i saw the email and what it stood for, my heart dropped and didnt know what to do.
yeah that sounds terrifying
I’m in the uk and I bought Jordan 1 mid racer blue white they were 100% authentic and arrived on arrival time in perfect condition
1. Ebay (u can actually see pictures of the shoe u want to buy from the seller)
2. Goat
3. StockX
Love the green light detail!
What about other articles of clothing? Like t shirts and stuff, are those safe to buy?
I recently tried stock X for the first time and I've been struggling to reach customer support about canceling my order. My only experience with stock X is having a seller refuse to send the shoes
I’m having the same issue rn have you had any updates ?
Bro I Just Bought Jordan 1 Off White Unc For 300$ Are They Fake Or Are They Cheap Because Of The Market Crash?
bruh 🤣
I love stockx always been world 🌎 class service to me , never had fakes of them , snd sold a lot on there app too
A lot of my sneakers have been purchased over Stock X & Goat.
StockX is the only sneaker site that I’ve ever been able to consistently get the sneaker that I wanted in my size (13), and until the sneaker market changes and rids us of bots, this is the only choice I have.
Reps size 13 sometimes
my first purchase from them was like on july 29 and i tried getting mocha 1s. got charged like 524.12 and got a system error with no refund, i had to reach out to them to get my refund. they responded quickly but it was still an L experience for a first time
How fast did you solve that problem?
@@alangladkovas well i filed the customer service thingy that they always tell you to do on twitter and they emailed me like 1-2 days and they told me that there was an error so they manually refunded the money which took like maybe 3-5 days
I havnt had any trouble out of them other than one pair got canceled after two weeks and no answer as to why
I still use StockX I’ve never had a problem there customer service could be better but other than that no issues here
If it has "Verified Authentic" or "Condition: New" Does that mean it's legit? or does it say that to make u buy stuff.
@@raulestrada1552 Alright thanks for the info
The biggest problem Stockx is facing, is its intrasparent pricing and stuff. You do not understand why higher priced shoes sell and yours dont. This is a big issue for new users.
Bought 20+ pairs from stockX not one was fake. How do I know? Because I resold them thru other platforms and they have all passed authenticity. Bunch of people I feel like just don’t know enough about shoes and when they hear stories they just assume everything is fake.
Maybe they could sent receipts with the pairs of shoes
I think they try their best. Stock X just caught three pairs of Yeezy slides I bought that were flagged as fake one they canceled the sale and the other got me an alternative seller.
first time seller for stockX, they wont sell me anything . trying to reach out to their customers service, THEY HAVE THE EMAIL, BUT I DONT THINK THEY EVEN HAVE CUSTOMERS SERVICE REPS AT ALL.
Is it safe to get puma mb01 melos from stockx?
Quick thought StockX says they have 100% Authentication but other companies don’t say that like GOAT so it is possible that other companies can have fakes too idk if that’s a stretch but it could be true
I bought a pair of Rick owens from stock x on dec my order should arrive in 2 weeks I’ll lyk how it goes

so what was the bad experiences
You got a refund? May you explain your experience? I am starting a claim for some Bad Bunny shoes that arrived without the accessories 😢
I have bought from stock x many times, I personally haven't experienced any problems.
I got the AJ1 Washed Black and StockX gave me a refund because my seller failed to ship it and i was waiting for a week before I got that email
I've bought A LOT of pairs from StockX and non have been fakes. Not saying that some don't slip by. Hell they do anytime resale is involved! But I have received non legit from eBay and Goat, and I have bought way less from those 2 sites. So StockX is good with me!
They are very sneaky. I tried to get a refund because my package was stolen and the lady in the live chat came off very disrespectful and gave some b.s. about reporting it in 3 days. Then she closed the chat so I couldn’t respond. It’s lack of a canceled order option, and no phone number is very shady. I’m never buying anything from them ever again.
Should’ve made a in depth video of the Kanye adidas beef like this one
I absolutely don’t do business with them anymore I was sold a product that was clearly used and they did not refund my money smh this is the second time I’m done

they dont make a lot of fake jordan 1 mids so you're prolly fine

I’ve bought stuff from StockX in the past and I haven’t received any poor quality products from them, whether they are real or not. I’ve sold most of them, but in the future I think I’d go with GOAT. Something about buying off EBay worries me

Ebay
Just sent me a pair of jordan 3 2018 quai 54 black in a jordan 1 box about 4 hours ago ..i dont wear them either .
One honest advantage over say ebay putting stock x fees aside is at least when you sell your not getting hit with stupid questions from buyers or stupid offers.
Check check is a bigger joke than StockX. “Not passed” for both my retail Yeezy and Jordan 1 because I didn’t provide them a box and those are worn. Told me the “shape” isn’t right - they are worn for years what kind of shape are they expecting? LoL
That’s why I stick to the saying retail or nothing. It avoids all this mess

I feel like most of these stories are fake. I’ve purchased and sold dozens of shoes through stockx and their customer service has always been fairly on point. I go through each shoe I purchase and check it out myself well. I recently ran a ton through check check for the heck of it and all came back legit as well. Not that check check is perfect but still.
Yeah bro same here. I’ve never had a issue and ordered at least 50 pairs so far. A lot of people say they are fake because of a quality control issue or something that’s off not realizing every shoe isn’t perfect
