I met Manila during a meet and greet. Everyone was lining up to meet violet and Katya, but Manila was SO sweet and SO down to earth. Love her

I think Manila and Raja should have both won. I love them both.
Honestly, it's the only season where both top 2 queens were evenly matched in terms of performance. I think Raja just edged her out with her runway.
Bryan Herron it's crazy cause they both had amazing runways in different ways. Manilas fashion is a perfect blend of camp and glam whereas rajas looks (on the show) were straight out of a magazine

I think another reason why the Qweens seemed kinder to one another on Season 9 is that filming occurred within a month or so after the Pulse Massacre. That kind of brought us all together I think. On a side note, wouldn't it be great, if next season two Qweens would lip sync for their life to Adam Joseph's "Linda Evangelista" track? That would be heaven.

Re: that last question -- I doubt fans would have turned on Katya unless they were really big fans of Roxxxy or anyone else Katya picked. She seemed to pick the fair name every time, whereas Alaska looked like she was playing the game her way. Which is fine, but it did ruffle feathers, especially after sending home fan favorites.
Angelica Rodriguez it wasn't even so much Alaska's 'choices' for eliminations that was the issue for me, but the meltdown. Katya could have crumbled under pressure but she never would have acted like Alaska... she just would have lost confidence
Angelica Rodriguez to me, it was the bs excuses she gave. She lent me a shirt? Girl bye. Say you want to get rid of competition or actually eliminate the "worst" contender that doesn't even want to be there anymore herself.

Its more of the meltdown, but some fans are iffy that Katya didn't win. So, she's kinda halfway right about that
