I’m surprised in the year since you posted no one has responded! Yes Green Eyed Lady is on the Pat Travers Power Trio album from 10 or 12 years ago (maybe even longer than that) The studio recording is here on the UA-cams! Cheers!
I absolutely love this, as I absolutely love the original song. I just wish Pat, with his Mastery of keyboards, would take on the solo that Jerry Corbetta made so famous in the extended version of this song decades ago. I'm sure Pat would do it great credit. Think of his solo on Crash and Burn.
Seen Pat Travers about 40 years ago,... alway's use to wear those red pants,... they'd introduce the band,... and he'd stick one leg out from behind the curtain,... the crowd would go nuts,.....a long time ago,... Met Center,...Minneapolis,... "1979"...........
That was a good cover of Green eyed Lady, but that song requires an organ and that's the main instrument for that song! I've seen Pat Travers twice in concert back in the late 80's at local clubs but it wasn't the same Pat Travers music I listened to on the radio when I was a kid when he was big time with Hughes/Thrall and Tommy Aldridge on drums...🥁
Close , he's the nephew of Jaco. Talked to him after a show a few years ago and he told me that his main influence was Steve Harris. Very cool guy. Mars would have approved of him to get his spot cause the kid rock's .
WTF .. I dont know why PT never achieved superstardom .. I saw the PT band in the UK at the 5,000 seater Hammersmith Odeon .. sellout UK tour back in the 80's .. tremendous rocking night! I used to be in band & we were very much influenced by PT Band .. can't believe he is playing bar gigs now!😯🙄
Has been doing bar gigs for 20 years. Have seen him a few times over the years since he was from just down the road in Canada where I live. Saw him last about 5 years ago in a club in Ottawa Ontario.
Think that bass player is out of tune. Something sounds off. I take it back that bass player sucks!! Should have kept the bass line going during the solo.
