I grew up as a young teenager listening to Pat Travers. I was lucky enough to see him in the late seventies at the Swing Auditorium in San Bernardino, CA. Years later, I was even luckier to be able to open up for him with my band in the early nineties in So.California! What a treat to be able to share the stage with one of my childhood guitar heroes! So happy to see him still getting it done.

That was a good cover of Green eyed Lady, but that song requires an organ and that's the main instrument for that song! I've seen Pat Travers twice in concert back in the late 80's at local clubs but it wasn't the same Pat Travers music I listened to on the radio when I was a kid when he was big time with Hughes/Thrall and Tommy Aldridge on drums...🥁

I absolutely love this, as I absolutely love the original song. I just wish Pat, with his Mastery of keyboards, would take on the solo that Jerry Corbetta made so famous in the extended version of this song decades ago. I'm sure Pat would do it great credit. Think of his solo on Crash and Burn.

WTF .. I dont know why PT never achieved superstardom .. I saw the PT band in the UK at the 5,000 seater Hammersmith Odeon .. sellout UK tour back in the 80's .. tremendous rocking night! I used to be in band & we were very much influenced by PT Band .. can't believe he is playing bar gigs now!😯🙄

Seen Pat Travers about 40 years ago,... alway's use to wear those red pants,... they'd introduce the band,... and he'd stick one leg out from behind the curtain,... the crowd would go nuts,.....a long time ago,... Met Center,...Minneapolis,... "1979"...........

You just cannot replicate the heart and soul of the original Marshall Tucker Band. They wrote the lyrics, created the music, and it was a reflection of the band members and their personalities. You cannot just plug and play members and come out with the same music. Imagine the Beatles doing this ?
