A little movie called Artemis foul I loved the book read with my dad it was a bonding moment for me and my dad we were super excited for the movie and came out and was shit completely and utterly ruined the character most disappointing movie I have ever saw Artemis Foul
Great list, Chris! Dial of destiny does not exist for me. Indy married Marion and had mutt in his life. Divorcing Indy and killing off mutt was the last straw for lucasfilm in my book because they just had to ruin Indy’s happy ending.

Most disappointing theater experience for me was Jurassic World: Dominion. The trailers looked great, I’m a massive JP fan and even though I really didn’t like Fallen Kingdom, I had faith in Colin Trevorrow. I walked out DESPISING this movie. NGL i rewatched the movie at home with an open mind and I enjoyed it more, but the movie is still mediocre at best. It was my most anticipated movie of last year and it really just let me down.
A few off the top of my head: - Taken 2 - probably the first movie I saw in theaters that truly disappointed me. - BvS theatrical cut - agree with you there. - Indiana Jones 5 - amazing how a film can disappoint you when you didn't have many expectations to begin with. - Avengers: Age of Ultron - one of the reasons I stopped watching movie trailers.
The best thing about the Sequels to me, where watching Boyega’s reactions to TFA trailer. When you hear how he was treated behind the scenes and everything of the sort (he was definitely one of the best parts of those movies) I don’t believe we’ll see him again and that’s unfortunate, cause he needs to save a Rey Movie coming out soon.
I love Nope, but the twist was so obvious for me. When the people from the fair got sucked up into the thing, and showed the ufo physically breathing with organs just gave it away. It’s also my least favorite Jordan’s Peele movie.
I agree with you, Chris My most disappointing movies I ever saw: -Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice -Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull -Star Wars: The Last Jedi -The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies -Solo: A Star Wars Story -Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny -Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker -Eternals -Wonder Woman 1984 -Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald -Tenet -The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey -The Green Lantern -Man of Steel -Shrek the Third -Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore -The Amazing Spider-Man -The Amazing Spider-Man 2 -300: Rise of an Empire -Suicide Squad -The Northman -Transformers: Rise of the Fallen -Thor: Love and Thunder -The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Parts 1 & 2 -Jurassic World movies And so, I’d probably would never watch them ever again
My biggest disappointment was TFA, I actually felt betrayed watching it in theaters TROS was also a disappointment because Duel of the Fates in the trailers really caught me but the movie was so dumb it ended up being funny (even back then SW was already dead anyway)
To me, Babylon is the one. Everything it was supposed to be got me thinking about how much I might like it. Sat in the theater for three hours doing nothing but eye rolls and sighings. Walked out feeling, not just disappointed but also, disgusted by a lot of things I saw that made me feel really repulsed towards. Other than that, seeing you putting Nope on this list hurts me, as I adore that movie.
5. Tenet 4. Ice Age Collision Course ( I was the biggest ice age fan growing up and I wanted this to be the toy story 3 of my childhood to have a nice bow on my favourite childhood franchise but it did not) 3. Rise of Skywalker/ Last Jedi 2. Love and Thunder 1. Toy Story 4
I enjoy age of ultron for what it is but when I saw the movie in theatres I was expecting a darker more mature movie than what we ended up with, it was mostly the quips that annoyed me. It really disappointed me at the time. But I still love the movie. Love and thunder however was definitely disappointing, I expected more from Taika since he did ragnarok.

That's a great idea! Though it seems harder to remember than the disappointing ones - human psychology I guess. One that really impressed me but was not really hyped at all was The Edge of Tomorrow, or Live, Die, Repeat. Mixing Ground Hog Day with a sci-fi alien invasion film was genius, & it only gets better with multiple watches.
Thor Love and Thunder single handily killed my hope for MCU after Endgame. I was so excited to see it and then after I saw it I have never hated a superhero movie since, not even Morbius or Madame Web comes close for me. I hated this movie so much that it's actually in my top 10 worst films ever as my 9th least favorite film ever. Not only that but now Taika Watiti is the only director that I will NEVER watch a film from if he has any involvement with that film. Thanks Marvel an dTaika for ruining my love for CBMs.
I disagree 110% on Nope. I think it was a huge step up from Us, and though it was not as great as Get Out (I doubt any movie from Jordan ever will be), it was still absolutely stunning. Personally, I think Midsommar was the most underwhelming for me. I had had the movie super hyped up for me, and I saw it and was like, "Meh..."

What makes Dr. Strange 2 all the more frustrating is they gave fans what they wanted with John Krasinski playing Mr Fantastic for only a few scenes. And with the actual Fantastic Four movie they’re recasting him like he was nothing 😫

Here's my top 10 list of the most disappointed films in my opinion. 10. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull 9. Spider-Man 3 8. Selma 7. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness 6. Cowboys and Aliens 5. A View to a Kill 4. Inspector Gadget 3. Cars 2 2. The Twister & 1. Trading Places I know some of you people like some of the movies on my list, but I was disappointed when I watched all of them. Remember, it's my opinion.
1: Godzilla 2014 by a country mile 2: Doctor Strange Multiverse of madness 3: Dune 4: Iron man 3 5: Black panther wakanda forever 6: Die hard 5 7: Terminator salvation 8: Elvis 9: Jason Bourne 10: The Wolverine X-Men days of future past was close its a good movie i just expected more and some of it just didn't work for me. Spectre i was tempted due to the whole final act i hate the ending but to fair up until bond gets to blofelds base it's a great movie.
X-Men 3 for me. X1 was good and X2 was fantastic. This was back when super hero movies were still fresh and relatively rare, so the anticipation was high since you didn’t get 6+ of these movies a year like you do now. The trailer was fantastic and they were doing the dark Phoenix storyline, which is probably the most iconic storyline in X-men comics. I also didn’t look at Rottentomatoes scores at the time, so I had no idea that the critics were just so-so on the movie. The critics are right, the movie is okay. But I went in thinking it could be the best movie I ever saw. This movie is the reason why I check RT scores before seeing every movie, so that I’ll never get completely blindsided again.
For me 10. Thor love and thunder 9. Jurassic world dominion 8. Rise of Skywalker 7. Eternals 6. Black widow 5. Haunted mansion 2023 4. Fantastic beast 2 3. Suicide squad 2016 2. Creed 3 1. Antman and the wasp quantamania
My most disappointments are Love and Thunder and Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom. L&T was the dumbest MCU movie and I was hyped for it b/c Thor was one of my favorite characters and the trailer looked cool. Fallen Kingdom was the first movie I saw that looks good visually but sucks either way, the first one wasn't that good technically but still fun, but Fallen Kingdom was just terrible
Some of my most disappointing movies: -Spiderman 3 (I get Bully McGuire gets a lot of memes but to me this movie would have been better without that along with Venom, Eddie Brock, and Gwen) -Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker (I actually enjoy The Last Jedi but this movie was all over the place) -The Hobbit Battle of the Five Armies (I need to see this movie again though since I only saw it once in 2015) -Ant Man and the Wasp 2018 (Love the first Ant Man movie but this movie lacked stakes) -Captain Marvel (Captain Marvel is my least favorite MCU superhero in the Marvel movies plus how Nick Fury loses his eye is played for a joke) -Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides (Really miss Will, Elizabeth, Pintel, and Ragetti, Blackbeard's zombie crew is less threatening than Barbossa's cursed crew and Davy Jone's crew, and Angelica is forgettable) -Shrek The Third (Part of it is because Shrek 2 was so great but I didn't find the storyline of this Shrek movie that interesting compared to the other ones) -The Assassins Creed movie (Could have been great but not much time spent in the animus and the second half of the movie is rushed) Who knows though? My opinions could change on some of these.
My Top 5 film disappointments in no particular order -Pokémon Ranger Temple of Sea: The film was building up to be actually genuinely good, & at the time, it was easily the best looking Pokémon movie. However, this is easily my #1 pick for "Movie ruined worst by the ending". It felt like May was gonna get a truly badass moment, but then it becomes so generic & tasteless, it's disgraceful. Thankfully, Rise of Darkrai's climax improved on this & thensome -Pokémon Diance & the Cocoon: The 1st (& I think only time) the trailer for a movie I saw before said movie came out lied. We never got the mountain scene, what we instead got was a fake-death so shoehorned in even compared to other Pokémon films it actively made 14-year-old me cringe. This turned me off of new Pokémon movies entirely until I Choose You -Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1: Not BAD per say, but the climax & ending felt so generic & tasteless that it kinda soured the film from kinda cool to just ok at best. The 1 thing I will give the climax for is the death does actually have SOME impact -Lightyear: I was expecting to ***love*** this movie, but it was another 1 of the many "good but not great" movies I saw in theaters. Again, the climax/ending holds a chunk of the blame. I actually like the twist about who Zurg is, but I would've much preferred if they actually went to other planets, or at least helped everyone escape the planet they were on -Transformers Rise of the Beasts: Yet another 1 of those "good but not great, held back majorly by the climax/ending" movies, being another generic "don't give up" ending as Pokémon Ranger & GotG Vol 1. Many times their plans go wrong but quickly get back on track & everytime I ask "What was the point?" That, & I wasn't a fan of how distrustful Optimus Prime was toward humanity in the 1st half (I thought yall wanted to FIX the issues with the late Bayformers films?) Actually now that I think about it, 95% of disappointing movies for me stem from bad/generic endings
Rise of skywalker can’t be one of the worst movies you’ve ever seen it’s not that bad I feel like people who hated last Jedi and force awakens just wanted to hate this mlvies
The Last Jedi is by far the most disappointing experience I've ever had at the cinema. I came out confused but then the more I watched UA-cam videos of others criticizing it, I actually felt anger at the HUGE waste of money, time, legacy, & how Rian Johnson destroyed the amazing character of Luke Skywalker. Rise of Skywalker may actually be worse, but I didn't even care enough to feel anything but cold contempt. I liked Thor Love & Thunder, though I can understand how people didn't like the tonal shifts & humor as much - full Taika Waititi is a bit too much for some people. Crystal Skull was awful, didn't even hope for Dial of Destiny. I don't recall Marvel claiming Multiverse of Madness was to full intro X-men & Fantastic Four - Illumanati was just a short tease for future films in my opinion, & I thought it was okay. First Wonder Woman was great, even though third act was a bit much, but 1984 was just terrible beyond belief, though I wasn't so big a fan to feel too much. X-men 3 was horrible, Apocalypse was poor, Dark Phoenix was abysmal. Thank goodness Marvel will be the ones to figure out the future of X-men.
The Last Jedi Spider-Man 3 Dumb and Dumber To Halloween Resurrection Matrix 2 and 3 Suicide Squad 2016 Batman vs Superman The Justice League Iron Man 2 Scream 3
Hi sorry this is such a random question but I agree with your list and I wanted to ask in no order what are 10 movies that lived up to the hype for you?
@@DanielPerez-ww2bq Thanks Off the top of my head, movies that I really enjoyed that had tons of hype. Logan Trophic Thunder Top Gun Maverick Avengers 2012 Mission Impossible 4-6 Revenge of the Sith Deadpool Toy Story 2 Lord of the Rings trilogy Harry Potter franchise
Us. I wasn't the biggest fan of Get Out but it was a first good one for Peele, and I was expecting him to be better after each movie but Us was so sloppy and fake deep, and Nope was a nothingburger. At this point I would be more hype for a new Bay Transformers movie than a new Peele movie.
Off the top of my head 1. Split 2. Conjuring 2 (Didn’t bother watching 3) 3. It Chapter 2 4. Infinity War (Did not like it on 1st viewing) 5. Skinamarink 6. Hateful Eight 7. King Kong: Skull Island 8. Ad Astra
While I really loved the Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker I understand being disappointed. But saying it isn’t Star Wars and like bro g disgusted in it shows you aren’t a real Star Wars fan.
Fantastic Beasts sequels- Completely ruined a cute side story with more Potterverse navel gazing nostalgia bait trying to recreate the original Potter stories in a story that just did not fit it. WW 1984- Made the original look like a lucky exception and really ruined the one thing they got right in the DCEU, Gal Gadot. She was born to play that role and the plot was just so bad and dumb and poorly thought out. The story did not even follow its own rules. All of the Star Wars sequels- remember when everyone cheered when Disney took over Star Wars because now we would finally get great stories without Lucas' limitations writing dialog? haha fun times. I hated even the first one. Rey was a dumb Mary Sue and the whole thing was nostalgia and a rip off. All The Hobbit movies- just a complete cash grab making a short little kids story some three part epic just to recreate the Lord of the Rings. I loved LOTR- I was mad after watching the first Hobbit movie and never got better with the other two. Matrix sequels- shows the Wachowskis were one hit wonders and the Matrix was a movie that proved it should have never had a sequel. It devolved into pseudoscientific jargon and nonsense. Loved the first one, hated the rest.
I absolutely hated A New Hope. To me Rise Of Skywalker is the only good Star Wars movie or show I've seen. I think I'm the only person who has only seen 1 episode of the Mandolorian and hated my time with it.
My list 1: The Good The Bad And The Ugly 2: Spider-Man Across The Spiderverse 3: Indiana Jones And The Raiders Of The Lost Ark 4: The Prestige 5: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 6: Batman V Superman Dawn Of Justice 7: Star Wars The Force Awakens 8: Jurrasic Park The Lost World 9: How To Train Your Dragon The Hidden World 10: Toy Story 4

Jurassic World Dominion. A friend of mine saw it at our local drive in and saw depressed Raptor cosplayers walking back to their cars.

-300: Rise of an Empire

-Jurassic World movies
And so, I’d probably would never watch them ever again
For me both the theatrical cut of Batman vs Superman and Justice League were extremly dissapoinitng.
The Last Jedi. Seeing Princess Leia wake up and float through space was the most disappointing movie moment I’ve experienced.
My biggest disappointment was TFA, I actually felt betrayed watching it in theaters
TROS was also a disappointment because Duel of the Fates in the trailers really caught me but the movie was so dumb it ended up being funny (even back then SW was already dead anyway)

I know some of you people like some of the movies on my list, but I was disappointed when I watched all of them. Remember, it's my opinion.
What did you expected from a view to a kill? A younger James Bond?
Yes.
1: Godzilla 2014 by a country mile
2: Doctor Strange Multiverse of madness
3: Dune
4: Iron man 3
5: Black panther wakanda forever
6: Die hard 5
7: Terminator salvation
8: Elvis
9: Jason Bourne
10: The Wolverine
X-Men days of future past was close its a good movie i just expected more and some of it just didn't work for me. Spectre i was tempted due to the whole final act i hate the ending but to fair up until bond gets to blofelds base it's a great movie.
GET HIM TO 85K!!!
Oof, forgot about X-men 3, Brett Ratner made a horrible film, on top of being a horrible person of course.
Prometheus. It was really hard for me to deal with that one.
the most disappointing movie to me is the godfather part 3, the first 2 are 2 of the greatest movies of all time, part 3 is such a step down.
For me
10. Thor love and thunder
9. Jurassic world dominion
8. Rise of Skywalker
7. Eternals
6. Black widow
5. Haunted mansion 2023
4. Fantastic beast 2
3. Suicide squad 2016
2. Creed 3
1. Antman and the wasp quantamania
I relate to the pure sickness and disgust of the rise of Skywalker, fucking horrible
The Lion King 2019 and Harriet.
No offense but getting excited for a lot of these was your own fault. Most of the trailers for this movie showed how bad they were
My most disappointments are Love and Thunder and Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom.
I don't really understand why you don’t like SW
Walking out of Jurassic World dominion I was very disappointed. Godzilla Vs Kong is in second.
Some of my most disappointing movies:
-Spiderman 3 (I get Bully McGuire gets a lot of memes but to me this movie would have been better without that along with Venom, Eddie Brock, and Gwen)
-Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker (I actually enjoy The Last Jedi but this movie was all over the place)
-The Hobbit Battle of the Five Armies (I need to see this movie again though since I only saw it once in 2015)
-Ant Man and the Wasp 2018 (Love the first Ant Man movie but this movie lacked stakes)
-Captain Marvel (Captain Marvel is my least favorite MCU superhero in the Marvel movies plus how Nick Fury loses his eye is played for a joke)
-Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides (Really miss Will, Elizabeth, Pintel, and Ragetti, Blackbeard's zombie crew is less threatening than Barbossa's cursed crew and Davy Jone's crew, and Angelica is forgettable)
-Shrek The Third (Part of it is because Shrek 2 was so great but I didn't find the storyline of this Shrek movie that interesting compared to the other ones)
-The Assassins Creed movie (Could have been great but not much time spent in the animus and the second half of the movie is rushed)
Who knows though? My opinions could change on some of these.
What about Jurassic World Dominion?!!!
Maybe he doesn't have many hope to it
@@pukenmg284 Maybe..
Do your top 10 worst movies you’ve ever seen
My Top 5 film disappointments in no particular order
-Pokémon Ranger Temple of Sea: The film was building up to be actually genuinely good, & at the time, it was easily the best looking Pokémon movie. However, this is easily my #1 pick for "Movie ruined worst by the ending". It felt like May was gonna get a truly badass moment, but then it becomes so generic & tasteless, it's disgraceful. Thankfully, Rise of Darkrai's climax improved on this & thensome
-Pokémon Diance & the Cocoon: The 1st (& I think only time) the trailer for a movie I saw before said movie came out lied. We never got the mountain scene, what we instead got was a fake-death so shoehorned in even compared to other Pokémon films it actively made 14-year-old me cringe. This turned me off of new Pokémon movies entirely until I Choose You
-Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1: Not BAD per say, but the climax & ending felt so generic & tasteless that it kinda soured the film from kinda cool to just ok at best. The 1 thing I will give the climax for is the death does actually have SOME impact
-Lightyear: I was expecting to ***love*** this movie, but it was another 1 of the many "good but not great" movies I saw in theaters. Again, the climax/ending holds a chunk of the blame. I actually like the twist about who Zurg is, but I would've much preferred if they actually went to other planets, or at least helped everyone escape the planet they were on
-Transformers Rise of the Beasts: Yet another 1 of those "good but not great, held back majorly by the climax/ending" movies, being another generic "don't give up" ending as Pokémon Ranger & GotG Vol 1. Many times their plans go wrong but quickly get back on track & everytime I ask "What was the point?" That, & I wasn't a fan of how distrustful Optimus Prime was toward humanity in the 1st half (I thought yall wanted to FIX the issues with the late Bayformers films?)
Actually now that I think about it, 95% of disappointing movies for me stem from bad/generic endings
Rise of skywalker can’t be one of the worst movies you’ve ever seen it’s not that bad I feel like people who hated last Jedi and force awakens just wanted to hate this mlvies
He clearly said he liked Force Awakens.
@@jacksondavies3595sequel trilogy are the most overhated movies of all time
@@megastarwarsrocks99”Somehow Palpatine returned” Like no explanation, just that
@@deadgalaxy1 there’s nothing wrong with that line
@@megastarwarsrocks99 not the line itself, rather we never get an explanation
Man I really wanted to love the new Indy movie
The Last Jedi
Spider-Man 3
Dumb and Dumber To
Halloween Resurrection
Matrix 2 and 3
Suicide Squad 2016
Batman vs Superman
The Justice League
Iron Man 2
Scream 3
Hi sorry this is such a random question but I agree with your list and I wanted to ask in no order what are 10 movies that lived up to the hype for you?
@@DanielPerez-ww2bq Thanks
Off the top of my head, movies that I really enjoyed that had tons of hype.
Logan
Trophic Thunder
Top Gun Maverick
Avengers 2012
Mission Impossible 4-6
Revenge of the Sith
Deadpool
Toy Story 2
Lord of the Rings trilogy
Harry Potter franchise
Do a top ten movie posters
Us. I wasn't the biggest fan of Get Out but it was a first good one for Peele, and I was expecting him to be better after each movie but Us was so sloppy and fake deep, and Nope was a nothingburger. At this point I would be more hype for a new Bay Transformers movie than a new Peele movie.
Quantumania is number one for me. By far
Get out is so overrated and mid, it's not even a rewatchable movie for me
L take
Off the top of my head
1. Split
2. Conjuring 2 (Didn’t bother watching 3)
3. It Chapter 2
4. Infinity War (Did not like it on 1st viewing)
5. Skinamarink
6. Hateful Eight
7. King Kong: Skull Island
8. Ad Astra
Is The Rise Of Skywalker The Worst Movie You Have Seen?
First comment what did I win?
U weren't and nothing lol
MOM is great🔥 I don’t get the hate! Thor 4 on the other hand I agree is borderline unwatchable.
Hœrśē
While I really loved the Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker I understand being disappointed. But saying it isn’t Star Wars and like bro g disgusted in it shows you aren’t a real Star Wars fan.
Theres a reason they’re hated. You would understand if you were at true fan

You should watch them in order, if you like rise of skywalker, you need to watch them in order
My list
1: The Good The Bad And The Ugly
2: Spider-Man Across The Spiderverse
3: Indiana Jones And The Raiders Of The Lost Ark
