I do like that indexing set up - it'll be interesting to see what you get up using that! And incidentally, I think you meant the feet are 60 millimetres - sixty centimetres is about two feet! Maybe you should stick to the old money after all. Cheers Bram, love to you both.

LOL A senior moment , or should I say a step ladder moment. I saw that when I was editing and I thought I did a voice over on it to rectify it ....it did'n't work for some reason so I put it right in the description Cheers mate and love to you both.

Really good to see you back in the turning shed. I find Holly’s a great wood for turning, as it is fine grained and strong. Really good for pegs and draw pulls. Greetings from Hertfordshire.😀🇬🇧

@filmbluff99 Hi mate and thank you very much. Amongst other things I made a mallet from a piece of Holly and also used a piece to join a handle to a walking stick. Cheers ,Bram

@TheMessyStudio Hi Billy, the spalting is not the best in the world but it's not bad either. It's a nice lathe mate and I'll get the outboard attachment hopefully later next year.Cheer mate.

Looks like you’ve got a pretty nice lathe there Bram. What’s the biggest diameter bowl or platter you can turn on it?
Thanks for sharing your experience with spalted wood. Spalting is unpredictable in my experience so not surprised that not all your holly bits were different after sitting in the bucket for a couple years. Cheers mate! Stuart
