Kyle Larson Move Would Be Career Suicide, According to Broadcaster | Kyle Busch Makes Bedroom Video

- Kyle Larson was the center of a debate this year on whether he or Max Verstappen is the world's best all-around driver. McLaren boss Zak Brown talked earlier this year about the 2021 Cup champ driving an F1 car in the future. According to one veteran broadcaster, if the Hendrick Motorsports driver makes a move to F1 in a certain time period, he believes it would be career suicide.

Nascar needs kyle larson MORE than kyle larson needs nascar...kyle larson could drive anything
💯
If only he would stop hitting walls.
@@charlesrussell6201 I know! Can only imagine how many wins he’d have with just a tiny bit better judgement. I actually worry that he, or someone else, is going to get badly or fatally injured because of one of those momentary lapse of judgements. He seems to be really lucky so far.
That may be true but Larson knows where he will make the most long term cash. Right where he is at
Kayle Larson is so boring and lame. Him leaving would be a win for Nascar
When NASCAR doesn’t appreciate the talent that it has, the Talent leaves.
RE: Kyle Larson, speculative news, is not news, it is just people spouting off. 5 years is a long time from now. Let's try to bring our focus a little closer to the present. No one just jumps into F1.
F1 is a joke, just follow the leader, no actual racing goes on. Can't imagine Larson going along with this farce of a computer controlled game.
Larson doesn't need anything but a dirt track.
Kyle will be Kyle. He’s chill…not my driver, but I’m not a hater. Definitely deserves respect and will be successful behind most any wheel. I doubt the casual motor sports fan knows little of F1 outside of Netflix Drive to Survive. I don’t see him making that jump, but I’m sure his Indy experience/speed has left him wanting more ventures in open wheel.
@@d.w.1032024 season has entered the chat.
Great points!
At one point Nascar was extremely profitable for owners. Now owners use their own money to keep it going. Thats a sign its all about to end.
And yet all the big guys signed right up at the deadline. Until they open their books up to public scrutiny (never happen in a million years) we should assume they’re doing just fine. For the record I don’t think anything coming out of the Frances mouth should be trusted either
Congratulations to all the winners. Merry Christmas to all! You are spot on with all your news items.
Merry Christmas and thank you!
The giveaway was awesome. Thanks for doing it!!!
Thank you for participating!
Larson would not be successful in F1 because they don't allow their drivers to compete in other sports and have strict rules. I agree with Moody on this subject.
They do for special events but no F1 team will let you do an entire separate series, it’s either commit or they will find someone who will.
Kyle Larson would be awesome in an F1 car. And make more doing it.
Great show cap, I like what you're covering
Thank you very much!
I know it won't happen, but Kyle Larson moving to IndyCar would be epic.
Moody is exactly right. It's a multi-year endeavor even being a generational talent.
Fun fact boring podcast radio voice guy running one off F1 races is not possible.
Look how much it took for Mario Andretti with full factory GM Cadillac support to get approval for a 2 car full time team.
In F1 you don't have field fillers you have big money serious long term teams and that ensures F1 retains that exclusivity lore of F1.
He’s talking about an exhibition “race” outside of F1 sanctioned race. I believe he said just like JJ did with Alonso, arrogant, low reading comprehension guy.
You can actually, with a caveat that you have to be part of an existing team and not a new team coming in from nowhere. Look at Nick DeVriess the other year filling in for Alex Albon who was in hospital. Also yes, you do have field fillers. Haas are in F1 and they are very, very much the definition of field fillers.
So if Larson is Hendrick's F1 test/reserve driver because they got two very good drivers in both seats, and something happens to one of their drivers, he can get called up to race on the Sunday, after driving in first practice on the Friday though. Jenson Button did that at Monaco in 2017,because Alonso was running the Indy 500, and more recently, Nick deVriess for Williams, and you have the seemingly common now midseason driver shuffles. Hello there, RBR. At this rate. Larson for Red Bull's second seat, I'm just putting it out there
Thanks for saying it so I don’t have to.
@@jacekatalakis8316 It's not that simple. You have to have 40 FIA super license points even to become a reserve driver.
Hendricks is worth around a billion. That's not enough unless he could bring in a lot more fluid cash. He still has a business to run.
Hass on the other hand is worth around 4 billion. And even he has had to partner up with some big money backers to even field a team. (remember the mazipan mess) .
DeVriess had already earned his 40 point license. Drive in a practice is worth one point.
Even Colton Herta doesn't have enough points to qualify for his license although at the end of the coming season he probably will unless he has a terrible year.
Great reporting again 👍 I didn't win but I still love your show 🤣 I don't believe Kyle Larson is going nowhere he has more championships to win right where he's at. Oh yeah Kyle Busch video was hilarious😂
Thank you so much for the kind words! And don’t give up hope. Will be more giveaways in the future.
Well I guess I didn't win...but I still love you show...take care and have a great Merry Christmas.
Thank you! Really appreciate it.
I believe drivers should take little time off so when they turn 35-40 they won't get burned out. Also grads to the winners
F1 doesn’t bring in old drivers. Kyle’s too old.
Cadillac is a new team. And they can do what they want.
@ They won’t take Larson. Probably Herta and an F1 vet.
@@michaelgomez3044 yup, and they won’t get Larson.
Kyle is 1 of my faves but Tony S is more versatile
The larson news is no news. It's just one driver giving another driver kudos.
I left a comment but I don’t see it, just wanted to make sure you got it, thank you so much for the MTJ car! Definitely my favorite Christmas gift!
I won the sunglasses and left 2 comments but I can't see those either?

Hendrick jumps from the sinking NASCAR ship, steps into F1. what is so hard to see about that?
How would hendrick do it? Andretti is already taking 2 more spots on the grid. Cadillac will already be with Andretti. GM most likely won’t supply two F1 teams with engines due to expense. F1 and the teams will be reluctant to have a total of 24 cars. Hendrick looses money with the NASCAR team and hasn’t turned profit in years. F1 is 10x more expensive then NASCAR. Or were you just joking in your comment?
"The best that ever was"? C"mon Mario, that is a foolish statement. He's not even close to the best that ever was in Nascar.
That's not what he said. "One of the best".
@@dave3823yes, he said “one of the best that ever was”. Not even in NASCAR. Still a foolish statement by Mario.
Didn't Gordo and Jimmy J just jump into Indy Car and Formula 1?
NASA doesn’t just pick any commercial pilot and shove him in the space shuttle, so Larson isn’t going near any F1 car to race anytime soon just because he's been an oval racer all his life.
Your depth of knowledge is showing.
No, I don't think Larson would start out being amazing. All racing has a learning curve. Thanks for all the updates on the NASCAR world.
The lawsuit that just got a huge boost with the injunction is going to right the ship for the teams. NASCAR goes to discovery and it's over. They have to make a deal before then. If the fans see what NASCAR really is they may never recover.
Lol that Kyle Busch part was funny stuff 😂
😂
if larson leaves nascar i'll honestly probably stop watching for a while
Merry Christmas (Mele Kalikamaka) 🌲🌲 🎁🎁
Merry Christmas to you!
hey I haven't heard from you Prize Winner
Congratulations to the winners 🏆
Looks to me like Blaney was the real winner.
I did not win either, but I hope that Kyle and his family have a great Christmas.
Which one?
5:53 Hail Melon was 2022, only remember because that was the first year I got real into nascar.
Yes. I realized it when I had already published it. Thanks for pointing it out.
Inconsistent but sometimes remarkably talented
I tend to always agree with two people: Kyle Petty and Dave Moody
Kyle Larson, Only The Best Race Car Driver In The World 12/16/24
Dave Moody isn’t one of my favorites.
Moody is right, but not for the reasons he thinks. F1 drivers must possess an FIA SUPER LICENSE. It would take Larson at least 3 years away from NASCAR, racing internationally, to acquire that license. I say he should go for it. Those dudes make millions, race half as many times a year, not to mention the whole getting to race a F1 car. He’s got nothing to prove in America. He wins in everything he drives.
Thanks for clarification on super license.
He wouldn’t have to go international if he went to indy car and did well there he could get it in the same amount of time.
Just do a car swap with Hamilton for a day and move on
The driver in an F1 car is about 30% of the equation on race day. The top 10 F1 drivers could all win in the winning car on any day. Not to say F1 drivers aren't major talents, its that the engineering/race day prep has more to do with the race than the driver. The stuff those cars do defies logic. If you've ever seen a Monaco F1 race in the 80s , and compared it to today , you'd swear they were using black magic to keep those cars on the track. And they kinda are....
Interesting perspective. Thanks!
I call any unclaimed gifts lol. Seriously though.... Good off-season vid...
LOL! And thank you!
Kyle Larson signs with Andretti Formula1 team,or does he?
Maybe.
Coming from a non nascar driver be quiet Andretti
Odds are a lot better than you think that he will make it to F1 in the near future. He’s in the McLaren family so he’s right where you’d need to be if interested in F1. Arrow McLaren was so surprised in the outcome at Indy (advertising sponsors on the car tell us the story -start of practice the car was wide open and very inexpensive vs race day after his limited, practicing qualifying unbelievable performance car was full and was very lucrative) Kyle’s ability to be running with and exceeding the talent of many open wheel veterans was more than noticeable to Arrow. McLaren had given him no real chance of any meaningful results at Indy (one of their marketing managers told me a few months prior to Indy he has no open wheel experience and this will most likely be a one off race). We must remember that his results at Indy came with literally no practice. If he would’ve had time to practice his pit lane intro things could’ve resulted in a much much different outcome. Most likely a top 5 for sure. With all that said McLaren (Zak) would love to have someone like Ayrton Senna again and Kyle could be that person for them. Now with that said Kyle wanting to go there or not that’s a whole other story. I would argue with anyone a seat would be available for him there in 2025 if he wanted. there’s a number of sponsors that would be more than delighted to put up more than what is a staggering of amount of $$$ millions required to win.
Fantastic comment with a lot of great info. Thanks for sharing.
I want Daniel Riccardo to come to nascar so bad. I would love to see danny and kyle do a seat swap
Larson would be crazy to leave Hendricks, but he might win a race in the first season. NEVER count Kyle Larson out.
As far as the best driver, put Max and Kyle in unfamiliar cars, and let 'em go at it! That'd be a fun watch. They used to have F1 and Indy car drivers race in the IROC series as I recall. Not many came, but I'm pretty sure a couple raced in the series. NASCAR and F1 converge more than we suspect:
ua-cam.com/video/SC7sFUQFxqM/v-deo.html
While I understand Panther's fans not liking the call, I'm sure more than half the tv audience was fine with it. lol NFL refs are definitely under fire every year, but the league won't do anything about it. I can't believe being an NFL ref is a side job.
The thing is, the NASCAR off-season is really short compared to all other national sports. I don't blame a guy for vegging out. He doesn't have much time before he has to start preparing for Daytona and beyond. I think part of having any banner year is processing everything after the season ends. That's the moment when a championship drive starts, when they get it in their head that they're going to win races. It affects everything from the way they communicate, to their day to day intensity.
Thanks for finding interesting tidbits to report!
Great job as usual Kyle. I was really hoping to win that diecast. But seriously, Dave Moody is right on. Those F1 cars are very different animals. Just the start-up procedure is involved. Then getting ready everything to temp, etc., etc. Those cars are like piloting a spaceship. Just the steering wheel takes a college course to understand. Hopefully I'll win something next year. Have a fantastic week Kyle!
Thank you, Stephen! Really appreciate it and you too!
Samantha Busch isn’t the star, she’s the stars wife, but wants to be the star so desperately, stop, just stop
that's a stupid take first of all if latsonbwanted to drive f1 he could let's be honest if he would not of sped on pit lane on the last pitstop he would have been top 2 or 3 so give me a break once you learn everything in the car you can drive the car so again stupid take !!!
Yeah, I don't think Kyle Larson's gonna go to F1. He's a family man. He loves his kids. And F1 driver is never home. They're gone. That just seems silly. Maybe later on when he's older
Larson has zero shot being a F1 driver. This whole thing is ridiculous.
Larsons too old to go to F1
Click bait
How did Lewis Hamilton get into an F1 car LoL
