I was the auction winner on this Land Cruiser. Your look over on it was much more extensive than mine was. I appreciate you pointing out things you saw. I'm going to save this to a personal playlist and when I get the vehicle in 2 weeks, I'll pull it up to see some of the things you pointed out.
Thank you for the through review! This was our family vehicle which I built up over the years! I hope the buyer enjoys the vehicle as much as my family has for the past 11 years.
Regarding the wheels that you mentioned that it looked like it may have been touched up/painted over, I suspect those are actually the original condition. These OEM wheels are likely to be some sort of shadow chrome/hyper silver paint where a black base coat is applied first then the silver is layered on top. Seems like the silver top coats are getting faded and the black base is showing. Just an interesting trivia haha. Really enjoying your detailed going through these ads even though I'm not even from USA. Just a passing kiwi LandCruiser fan! =D
I would really like to see you do a review of Facebook marketplace 100 series, I want to see your thoughts and on what owners might be hiding within their listings, issues and damage ect. I've been looking for a 100 but some of the listings seem suspicious.
Predicted Final Price: Sold for $34,000
Actual Final Price: Sold for $37,000

Would love to hear what you think about it all when you get the vehicle. Thanks for commenting!
How’s the Land Cruiser now that you have it???

I hope you found it fair and objective. Looks like it's been a great vehicle for you all. What's next?

Thanks for the observation!
I am watching this in 360p hell! 💀 2006 is the best year (or the 1st best year) of the 100
You're a trooper! At least my voice in 360p is just as suave.

That floor mat in the cargo area is weather tech. I have it and don’t like the fit either.
We had a 1999 LC 100 series. I believe the first year of the LC 100 series was 1998. But, the 2006 LC was a good year for them.
06-07 are well-loved. 98-99 were the real cool ones though.. No Sunroof and rear locker. A bit more options.
