I ordered the EVH FRANKENSTEIN from Ali Express i guess i was very lucky really as i had no trouble with mine and ive recently ordered the paul stanley ibanez ps10 cracked mirror from Ali express if that fails ill still keep it and just hang it on my wall being a huge kiss fan back in the day and ive always wanted a ps10
Check out the Ibanez GRG-140! Awesome affordable pretty guitar. Have it in white. Had a little work on it: had to solder the loose ground wire on the claw, cleaned up the neck pocket from laquer, rounded the fret-ends, smoothen and rounded the fretboard (mine was pretty rough New Zealand pine), smoothen and polished the vibrato posts and the knife edge, widened a bit the nut slots, shielding paint in the cavities, lubed every friction points. Now it plays like a dream, stays in tune, and the pickups (Infinity R) are actually very good!
Where did you order the replacement trem? I have recently got one of these and as you say the stock trem is terrible. Would like to atleast make it playable if possible
I got it from Seventh chord Musical instrument accessories store. See: www.aliexpress.com/item/1591613336.html?spm=2114.12010612.8148356.60.e3e4428fBkOTwk. They have a range of tremolos. Reviews are good to great. After all, it's an after market copy of something else but works fine on the JEM copy.

yeah iam find same problme from my chibanez, is microphonic and noise at potensio if iam rotate it tone volume then noise
I'm not sure the lion's claw goes quite far back enough. Better extend those flutes all the way back to the strap button just to be sure...

Sounds like a lot of effort for a genuine Ibanez although this model is in the more affordable range. Never the less, enjoy! 😃
