I saw Maiden on the Piece of Mind tour so that has always been my favourite 2. Somewhere in Time, 3. The Number of The Beast, 4. Powerslave, 5.Killers, 6. Seventh Son, 7. Debut, 8. A matter of Life & Death, 9. Brave New World, 10. The Final Frontier, 11. Dance of Death, 12. Senjutsu, 13. Book of Souls, 14. Fear of The dark, 15. No Prayer for the dying, 16.= The X Factor / Virtual XI
Pretty spot on other than Brave New World being too low. I’d definitely swap that with Dance Of Death. Not fussed over the order of your top 7. Most people would acknowledge the 80s albums are the best ones
Here's my list with some surprise placings and it's gonna maybe get people upset but this is my favorite heavy metal band. 17. A Matter Of Life And Death 16. The X Factor 15. The Book Of Souls 14. Virtual XI 13. Senjutsu 12. The Final Frontier 11. Dance Of Death 10. Brave New World 9. Iron Maiden 8. Fear Of The Dark 7. Killers 6. No Prayer For The Dying 5. Piece Of Mind 4. The Number Of The Beast 3. Somewhere In Time 2. Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son 1. Powerslave
No Prayer came at the end of an incredible run of albums throughout the 80s. I became a fan in 81 having inherited my brothers cassette of Killers as a kid and NPFTD did feel like a bit of a letdown. I still saw the tour and in hindsight i now really enjoy the album, but yeah, it was slightly underwhelming on release.
Thank you a different ranking list. To many maiden ranking videos are almost the same. Thank you for giving No Pray For The Dying a whole lot of love. Don't understand the hate. I think to many people compare this album to the previous record and you just can't.
Great Iron Maidenranking Tom! There's only a small amount of albums I haven't listened to now, I never enjoyed Dance of death barring a few tracks. I agree with you No prayer for the dying is a decent album, I liked it. A matter of life and death might be their best album from the modern era. I had a feeling 7th son might have been your favourite. I love Powerslave, that's my favourite; followed by Number of the beast and Somewhere in time. Great vid 😊🤘
Cheers dude! Yeah No Prayer for The Dying surprised me - I definitely liked it more than I remembered. Cool - yeah Powerslave is an incredible album. The top 5 here, perhaps 6 with Killers, are all S tier albums to me.
@@thegreenman4925 you're welcome man! Yeah I've heard so much negativity around that album, I too was surprised how much I liked it when I heard it. Maybe no expectations helped. That a great man! Yeah those albums are fantastic, though 7th son I'm not a huge fan of honestly. I just never got on with it. But all the others are top teir 🤘🤘
@@thegreenman4925 ah ok that's fair enough man, it's one of those albums where it either clicks or it doesn't. That's cool though, maybe one day it will for me 😊🤘

Good ranking. I wish Maiden would trim the fat of their newer albums.
Yeah me too
