Hello sir i have this type of issue in my jetta 2012 2L Randon warning lights are on Only rpn working speedometer not working Fuel gauge is not showing any fuel sign Kilometers are not being recorded What should i do pls reply
I have a 2016 jetta 1.4 SE this problem is happening while I am driving/accelerating the the lights come on and gauges start going crazy along with headlight flickering and the good ol beeping sound... it sounds like the cars going to blow up. Should I just take it to the dealer and see if the issuer is covered under warranty?
hey.i just bought a used jetta and when I take the key out of the ignition the same thing happens. I have to disconnect the battery post till I can get it looked at. how much was the cluster
Im currently experiencing this on my 2002 jetta, same sound with lights and everything. I've replaced every fuse relay and battery and also sanded every ground. Did you ever figure out what it was???
Wish we knew what caused this. Mine is doing this exact same thing. Can't figure it out.

Yes! Sounds like a loose connection somewhere. Maybe the battery

What was wrong with your car how did u fix it?
I had to replace the cluster. I think I also fixed a few grounds under the dash

I don't recall off hand. I want to say a new cluster will run somewhere in the $450 range. I can tell you they are not cheap. :(

@@cakimmell yes, bad cluster. Had to replace with a new donor cluster.
Loose contacts.....
Mind if ask if its a TDI or an SE?
