It was mine and it should be taught as well to this generation . I'm so loyal to it bc it is so real on every level not the mumble garbage they consider lyrics or bars today l !!!!🙏💯❤️💯
Move on bruh, yo ass old. And im 44 years old. Move on. That was yo time.

No Doubt Indeed Sis! You're definitely on point with that observation. RIP DJ Polo!
Oh my! I didn’t know till y’all mentioned 🙏🏽 DJ Polo 🕊️RIP 🕊️
Kane killed this track. I miss these days of hip hop
G-Rap goes into another realm with his verse
That boih bhaaaad 🤣
He always do. That nigga never ever had a wak verse!!!
@@BatmanLampin yes he is I've been playing his songs out all week from men at work to ill street blues lately that's who I've been playing a lot.
Especially those last 3 lines
GRap and Kane went in
Big Daddy Kane killed it.
I never seen a MC rap so good with a lisp like Kool G. He killed it.
Go LOOK up everything kool g got. You'll appreciate him even more!!!👍👍
Az got lisp. Dope mc
@@terrencecustis6803 az doesnt have a lisp.

Erick Sermon has a lisp too.
Kool G and Kane we're lyrically gifted love em both classic raw hip hop forever 👍👍👍👍
Masta Ace also, such an underrated mc!!
Every bars were equal.
Tf is raw hip hop?
If rap was a house you’d be evicted
Rakem…Slick Rick…
One of the Greatest tracts Ever! Big Daddy killed it!
Crazy part is he was only a teenager with lyrics like that
*G. Rap KILLED it!*
*And Craig G. was, in his own words, 13 when he first became a part of "The Juice Crew".*
Hellllll yeah
Yezzzzirrr
Today's rappers can't pull this off. 💯
Yea rapping changed and nowhere near in a good way and that’s coming from a 04 baby who grew up with a dad jamming to hits like this !
@@chihunchoo 2002 born here. 💯 🤝
Hell no they beef and cause chaos
It was too many great groups and individuals spitting fire!! Gang Starr was high on my list though.
Lord no😅
This was a time of creative video collabs. It was about fun, not being top killer. No toxic egos just every1 getting theirs on the mic.
Kool G verse is just legendary.
Met big daddy kane Rochester NY
Kool G is a legend dawg mf was a beast this is when hip hop was saying something.
Its was good but BIG DADDY KANE OUTRAPPED HIM AND BODIED EVERYONE ON HERE. HE WAS FRESH OUTTA JAIL AND ONNA NEW LEVEL THATS WHY HIS SCENES WERE SHOT DIFFERENT PLACE
@@leonblack7736 he ain't body Everyone, cuz he ain't body Kool G. But I believe he won this one.
@@leonblack7736 no he didn't cool G verse smoked everyone, especially the full version.
This was the one that set the standard that all collaborations were judged by.
Didn't many come close
So true
Its not a collaboration. That would be like calling a wu tang project a collaboration
@@hughmungus403 the Wu was a whole group that made entire albums together and splintered off to make solo projects whereas all of the artists in this were in the same crew, but individual artists that came together just to make this song on Marley Marl’s collaboration album.
@@mbond0027 Its a juice crew song right?
This has be like one of the best raps songs ever. Definitely a classic.
Facts! Real Rap not mumble bullshit!

Damn, ya'll came through with the dope lisp emcees!
Big Daddy Kane. GOAT power level!!!! When I was a kid and heard Kane say "Put a quarter in ya ass cause ya played yaself". I was bouncin around the damn living room in amazement. All these years later that one bar is still an unblockable attack.
Remember that quarter from the beginning of the video. Lol.
@ Trey Trey that is a unlockable attack. I hate brag but man I'm good,if rap was a gun I'd be clint eastwood,if rap was a game I'll be mvp most valuable poet on the m.i.c.(sorry that's rhyming with the biz, rip)
EXACTLY!!! 💯💯🎯
“Still”
4:10 Wooooaaaaah Wee
This is the era when you had to really have bars!!!!!! Miss these days and the pioneers who paved the way. 💯
KOOL G AND KANE KILLED IT 💯💯🏆
No Argument Here
Most definitely
No doubt
They bodied that track!!!!
The vocabulary and skill displayed here is LIGHTYEARS ahead of what we get today. Fight me.
The idea of letting BDK close it out was genius. At the time Kane was ridiculously large and letting people like Masta Ace launch the missile was very necessary. I remember not knowing who he was prior to this, nor Craig G, but both of them did phenomenally. G Rap and Kane as the big brothers letting shorties rhyme 1st and 2nd adds grace and class to this distinctive Hip-Hop classic.
Thank you for the info brother 🫡 🔥
Some rappers think going last is the dominant position, like Canibus in the freestyle with Pun, DMX, and Mos Def
also Kane was the only one performing outside of the “old west” theme 😂 like he said naw can’t catch me in all that
I was listening to the piano and I knew that I heard this song and I couldn't remember where it was from in the 80s wasn't this beat on another tape from Big Daddy Kane,
Facts!!!
Shout out to Masta Ace for the legendary debut here. Disposable Arts one of the greatest albums in hip hop!
This should be apart of American History and be required to listen to in schools arcross the country
Before you decide on a rap career Lol
I agree
Facts! This is a classic.

Big Daddy Kane was a beast!!!!
The story goes, Ace, Craig, Kane wrote their verses. G Rap was last to lay his verse. After hearing G Rap’s verse they all agreed, we have to rewrite our verses. 🔥🔥🔥
i don't doubt that shit at all
Facts.... Marley said he don't care whos first or whos last it's just got to be FUNKY..!!!

Kool G Rap, one of the greatest lyricists ever! Godfather of lyricism! He passed the mic torch to Rakim!
Masta ace was a last minute change in the roster, it was supposed to be MC Shan
47 years old and this song is still banging all goats ✊🏾😔🎙️🎙️🎙️🎙️🎙️🎙️🎙️🎙️
We ARE Hip Hop....My generation....Iconic Legacies✊🏾❤️🔥✊🏾❤️🔥✊🏾
Crazy how Ace wasn't even supposed to be on this track, yet he killed his shyt. Thanks to Shan not wanting to be on, he was added.. And he originally did his verse in one try, a trait only real emcees have.
Jurzee Slugga thanks for that information. But if Shan was on this track, how would it sound?
Brooklyn24 Imagine with Rakim.
Don't get high On your own supply that would a classic. That would be one vinyl and cassette, I would never loan to anyone
Brooklyn24 Hahaha agree
A lot of rappers can't "Spit" off The Dome at a moments notice.
The dopest cut back in the day.An A-list line up of rappers.✌🏽

The Juice Crew put us 1988/89/90 rap fans on notice with this jam and video: "Posse Cuts. New Thing. Listen. Learn. Love it. Many will attempt to do this, to be this good, to be the "Next Symphony". We're like that comic book The Avengers. But real. In time, they'll make a movie about that book. And your kids will feel about IT the way you feel about THIS whenever it plays FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE."

"I put out more light in a fight than ConEdison." Just fucking amazing.
Big Daddy Kane was the best on this rap medley. Kane was like the anchor leg on the U.S. men's 4×100 meter relay in the Olympics. Always save the best for last. Kane rapped with a lot of conviction and meaning. Kool G Rap and Masta Ace are dope as well. Kool G Rap is a legend. Craig G is dope as well.

Used to use this track to adjust bass response in car stereo systems back in 1988. If your system wasn't right this jawn would blow your speakers. Those were the days!
Facts!
I love how I can clearly understand every word that all the rappers are saying.
BIG DADDY KANE OUT RAPPED ALL THEM ON HERE. THIS WAS ONE MY CHILDHOOD ANTHEMS. I REMEMBER AT SCHOOL WE USE TO BREAK IN THE MUSIC ROOM AT LUNCH AND PLAY THIS BEAT ON THE PIANO AND WE ALL FREESTYLE TO IT.
