Hall of fame type rap. All of them but I'd give G Rap the title but I'm biased because I always been a big fan. I read a comment from a brother on G Rap who said he rappin like his life depended on it. The funniest but realest description on a rapper I've read so far

+DisownKaos This is a legendary verse, but G Rap has so many incredible verses that it's tough to pick his best. Men at Work ( first or any verse), Kool is Back, his verse on the realest, his verse on the original version of Raw with Kane, you can go on for years G Rap destroys everything he touches.
to me, this is possibly one of the greatest old school hip hop jams ever. Big Daddy Kane, Rakim......to me, they were both ahead of their time and possibly the greatest hip hop artists of all time (lyrically speaking). but I have to say..... as the years go by and I listen to "The Symphony" over and over again, I have to agree......Kool G Rap's verse, possibly one of the greatest verses of all time.
This is real hip hop!!!!!!!! Kane and g rap killed it I could never get tired of hearing this song pure classic you tell me any new rappers can compare to this classic yo
Just listen to Kool G Raps song called "its a demo" it was released in 86 same year Rakim dropped paid in full but to me it's a demo is on another level than paid in full G Rap doesn't get the credit he deserves tbh he deserves a lot more no other rapper has created there own sub genre in hip hop like he did plus he created multi syllable rhymes schemes I mean come on man what else does he need
I remember when Its a Demo came out, even had it on a chuck chillout mixtape for a long time. G Rap is in my top 5 of all time, but unfortunately he debuted the same year as Rakim, and KRS ONE. (BDP) Hip Hop heads have always given G Rap his credit, and he deserves it.
@ Wolveringe........Kool G's lisp and raspy voice adds to the greatness of his flow. I don't think it hurt him in the slightest. But I do think his and Big Daddy Kane's parts were the best in this song.
Others have sold more records and had more mass appeal but line for line verse for verse G Rap sits atop my list for the GOAT. Dude was just on a higher plateau!
Masta Ace was already sounding like the 90's during the late 80's so that goes further than just splatting words that rhyme together. Masta Ace took this for me. His clear sound and grasp with giants like G rap, and kane stands out for an early listener like myself. I never noticed it as a kid due to the fact that Kane and G rap stood with seniority. I cant hand the victory to someone that doesnt sound clear. I still love Kane's verse though.
G Rap and Kane easily had the best verses on this no question, everyone wanted to know who G Rap was after this verse, it was before he dropped his debut your point is invalid.
Kane got busy on this he had some wild lines and mic presence!! But this guy kool genius of rap is in another league!!! G rap is easily in my top 5 for setting the bar for lyrics!!

Unless you force it, because it stays with you, my friend

And if you didn't read it I suggest you do so

Sleep if ya want to, go 'head, get some shut-eye

Just looked up this song again and see I posted a comment 11 years ago!! It's still as badass as when it was released!!
Truly everyone was great on this track, awesome line up, but it's a reason why they had Kane close it out, no question, one of the greatest mc's to hold a Mic....for real for real
tim ballard they had G Rap close the the symphony pt 2 for a reason too, he killed this.
yep 2nd best on this track no doubt
tim ballard e
Yep that’s Phaxxx
kool g rap killed it
sauce dripping yes.
sauce dripping facts
Biz Markie shoulda started it!
killt
For sure!
Master Ace always had the smoothest cadence in his raps!
Oh man. This was the sh#t. Grew up in the 80s. When rap was real. Wish I could go back. Miss it so much. Basement parties. ..a 🍺 and sum good green...life was so so good😊
Not forgotten in 2019
Long live RAP😳😁😄
After Kool G Rap verse I just keep rewinding
Ronald Johnson word
Kool G Rap is a beast. He has a very heavy lisp but yet still always wrecks the mic.
This is the Rap Posse song by which all other Posse/collabs was measured by. This is by far the Greatest Rap Posse Record in Hip Hop History.
Kool G. Rap & Big Daddy Kane absolutely MURDERED this track. After 24 years I still shake my head in disbelief when I hear this.
Masta Ace took this one folks......He just started the song like no one could........salute to all of them.....they ALL should be recognized
G Rap destroyed this and Kane easily had the 2nd best verse.
naww. Kool g Rap did
Jay 'Ontario Nobody can open like Masta Ace did, how do you get an audience to keep listening,? murder them with an intro🔥
Stronger and longer even with the drum off
Hall of fame type rap. All of them but I'd give G Rap the title but I'm biased because I always been a big fan. I read a comment from a brother on G Rap who said he rappin like his life depended on it. The funniest but realest description on a rapper I've read so far
Technically, this was the juice crew featuring Kane....and we see why...."settin it off, lettin it off--BEGINNING!"...the rest is HISstory #longLivetheKane
Yo I swear big daddy kane and kool G was battling at the end
Possible, Big Daddy Kane had disagreements with practically every walking man.
What do you think "And don't compare me to HIM when you hear me" was for? Kane.
They was battling each other. Their verses sound like they was freestyling. Off the dome shit!
Jermaine Brown - possibly!! Kane didn’t show up for the video shoot. Maybe it was cuz of G Rap.
ΨEddie JojoΨ they was
This was that joint
Once you here the capital A,
Rappin will Stay,
with you for a while, it won't go Away!
This shyt is still fire
2019 STRONG 💪
I love this song
Marley Marl - The Symphony
I didn't realize till right now Big Daddy Kane and Kool G Rap is battling each other on the same record
maybe. if they were big daddy lost. as he wouldve if he battled the God emcee
@@grellimichael crazy. "Gun in ya mouth talk" you doing right there.
@@lyrics2challenged no its not im speakin on hip hop dont get it twisted. we all 40 plus, if its gun in ur mouth talk still u wasted ur whole wife homie and i pray for u.
@@grellimichael you legit said BDK lost if they were. That's a lie right there sir. That was the gun in your mouth talk. To each their own but I'm taking BDK every time (probably even KRS over bdk or Kool G if I'm being real).
@@lyrics2challenged Kool G murdered this track, big daddy couldnt hang with Kool G nor could Kris. Rakim is one, Kool G is two and Redman is three. No gun needed. Just a pen and a pad its hip hop. "Smooth Operator Operating Correctly"
HIP HOP CLASSIC
Archives with out a doubt
Kool G and Kane went off. They all did they thang, but both of them was always my favs on this. This track is classic!
Kels3618 Keljo ... Shante would’ve killed this track. Marley shouldn’t have left her out! Juice Crew!
This is the 1st best collaboration of the 80's.
Kane verse gives me chills..#Top5mcs
Ain't no nothing to argue ? KOOL G RAP bodied this.
Lol...u crazy Kane killed this track
You're both right. Lyrically- G Rap. Flow- Kane
No doubt fam real talk
Bruh! don't compare kane to g rap. I like kane. No half steppin is one of the best songs in history! Across all genres. But g rap killed this. The lyrics, and that grimy, gritty delivery. Boi bad!!!!!
G Rap murdered it and Kane was his CoDee
Big daddy kane verse though
G rap killed it too
@@ericwebb2224 Kane can't fuck with G
2nd best on the song
Kane aired that shit out
@@bignadier you must've been high.
Big daddy Kane sounded like he free styled on this one.
Kool G and Kane were going for it UC they put Kool G last on the second sympathy he stepped up real Hip Hop I grew up on that real rap 80s into the 90$$S
Greatest crew track of all time
Yo, Marley gives the slice, I get nice,
and my voice is twice as horrifying as Vincent Price
goes deep, till you fell in a spell of a sleep,
and while I'm countin' the money, you count sheep.
When G Rap strikes the mic, I recite the type of hype that you like,
and make the people unite.
I grip up hips and zip up lips, step on reps, you flip and wanna sip on my tip.
Take a deep breath, because you don't have another left.
Comin' back like I'm avengin' my brother's deat.
Makin' veterans run for medicine,
cuz I put out more lights in a fight than ConEdison.
Rip the damn cage like I'm on a rampage.
And if you want rage, I'm-a make front page.
Read the headlines, suckers, todays the deadline,
your head is way past bedtime.
Can't kill though. Solo. Cuz you're still all...soft like a pillow.
My rap is rougher than Brillo.
So fear me, don't dare dare me,
and don't compare me to him when you hear me.
Talk about a battle but you ain't yet ready for war.
Your metaphor sucks more than a whore.
You can't replace me, ice me or ace me, bass me, face me, slice me or race me,
bite me or taste me -- I'll show you that I got force.
My rap burns your mouth like hot sauce.
Run for water while I break your tape recorder.
Server-to-sucker: the order is manslaughter.
Another rapper, G Rap wrecks, he's rated X, to mean the boy is sex. Next...
the amplifier gets used and abused. Pumps so loud, we might blow a fuse.
This is anger, madness, ready to hang 'er.
Rapper or singer: I'm puttin' up my middle finger.

Thank you putting your time in putting a verse that will be in the Hiphop Bible/Koran.
It truly is one of the best verses i have ever heard.
Iv'e recently been listen to all his albums and this is his best verse fosho!
best verse in rap history
G said the rap burns his mouth like HOT SAUCE!!!
no he didn't my rap burns YOUR mouth like hot sauce.
KOOL G RAP GOT THIS ONE DELIVERY AND WORD PLAY
This is real hip hop!!!!!!!! Kane and g rap killed it I could never get tired of hearing this song pure classic you tell me any new rappers can compare to this classic yo
One of the greatest collaborations in hip hop without question
Takes me back to Saturday morning watching Dr. Dre and Ed Lover #greatmemories #goldeneraofhiphop #realhiphop
I’m 32 and I still bump this like it came out Yesterday...I wanna re incarnate this record with the Blessing oh Marley
One of the best hip hop songs ever made..Plus kool G kills it best verse in rap
G rap and kane was battling for the world to see again and I think G rap got him this time and probably last time too
Just listen to Kool G Raps song called "its a demo" it was released in 86 same year Rakim dropped paid in full but to me it's a demo is on another level than paid in full G Rap doesn't get the credit he deserves tbh he deserves a lot more no other rapper has created there own sub genre in hip hop like he did plus he created multi syllable rhymes schemes I mean come on man what else does he need
Kool G Rap G Rap is a monstah!
Biggie smalls method man and loads more had lisp tbh it makes them sound better
@ Wolveringe........Kool G's lisp and raspy voice adds to the greatness of his flow. I don't think it hurt him in the slightest. But I do think his and Big Daddy Kane's parts were the best in this song.
The pioneer of that mafioso flow...
It was SO awesome to be young when this was new...... It was taking over the world of music..... And still owns it.
Kane smoked this beat!
he wrote all the lyrics
Yea Kane never wrote one lyric for G Rap
@@Prettyboyu that nigga tripping
@@bignadier 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Met kane Rochester ny main st armory
+J York G Rap is one of the greatest to ever touch a mic, any credible hip hop fan understands this.
And you'd be wrong
G Rap, Kane, and Rakim are the illest ever. Not up for debate.
JR NYC shit I understand everything G Rap spitting. Dope voice
Kool G Rap killed that ish, and so did Big Daddy Kane. That’s how you do it!
True Posse Record..Big Daddy Kane ripped It!
Yes, this was the original and probably still the best.
These guys was boys. The collllabos after this was filled with competing egos.
Geeeeez.. They wasn't battling each other but they was killing it... Kool G Rap fired on this track
When old school rap was old school rap
Yeah, i believe thats me!
If rap was a house you'd be evicted
Kane got busy on this he had some wild lines and mic presence!! But this guy kool genius of rap is in another league!!! G rap is easily in my top 5 for setting the bar for lyrics!!
Kool G Rap & Kane killed it!!!
Listen closely, true old school hip hop. Youngsters need listen
Kool G verse is Fuego. No contest
BigDaddy...
I gotta give it to Kane
Kanes? Really? Not even close!!!!
@@PeteyS.D. these muhfuckas be lying to theyself saying kane verse aint the best!!!
"As I prepare to wear, tear and smear -- then I'm outta here
With a mark left that you can all cling
Cause rockin' a party? Yo, it's a small thing
I rip many places on regular basis, and broken down mics were the only traces
That I'd been there and there at the party
The mic had my prints, and on it was a body " What?? Cmon Son!! Kane Aired this shit out
The GREATEST posse cut EVER.... HANDS DOWN!
This was real rap music. I remember pumping this threw my 6x9 speakers in my 79' corolla as I leave high school
Memba those Sherwoods bumpers and benzis....... ooooooooohhhhhh!!!!!
With some house speakers hooked up in da hooptie lmao
