I use the dark edition of this togheter with a grizzly frame and i do not regret getting it for the 14700K :) Keeps it under 80c on the peaks doing the R23 30min stresstest which i think is really good :) I really recommend this AIO cooler :)
Not bad, depends what you're doing. I'd recommend looking at the Arctic Freezer III if you can fit the extra depth though. Especially with the whole EK situation...
Thank you! That 14900KS is a bit*h to cool, people have *had* to delid them to get anything close to sensible temperatures. For the hassle I'd just get the 14900K.
@@jordanash thanks for your response. I’m looking at upgrading my current system which is about 7/8 years old so was thinking about the 14900Ks. Currently have a 9900K which generates a fair bit of heat too. I originally had an 8700K which was fine with temps, but the 9900K is considerably warmer. I should’ve upgraded my cooler for the 9900K, but never did.
Yeah the 14900K is on ANOTHER level. I wouldn't bother, the extra frequency for the price and extra heat just isn't worth it, you would hardly notice the difference in speed anyway.
Hey! I got the dark version of it, and always when i'm gaming or opening up my browser the fans spin really fast and are really loud, is that normal? anyone have similiar experience?
Sounds like your motherboard has a very agressove fan curve. Search on here for adjusting fan speed on [brand] motherboards, there are loads of guides that can help you sort it.
@@jordanash That wasn't a knock against the review. I want the Ek dark for my new build, and was looking for benchmarks. It was between the EK and Arctic freezer III for me!!! Two great AIO's for great prices. Both of those are seriously impressive for the price. I have always been a fan of Noctua air coolers, but recent processors have me thinking about liquid cooling for the first time! I think a top mounted 360 AIO in a Fractal Define 7 midtower will do the trick.
No, I know ☺ The Arctic ones are great if you have the vertical space (RAM and VRM clearance is an issue, in some cases - no pun intended), I've just got them in, looking forward to trying them out
It's beautiful AIO! I like how it is boxed! Really nice touch! Great performance also!
Thanks for the review Jordan! 🎉
Excellent package isn't it! Thank you, appreciate you watching!
What a impressive packaging! Great Review Jordon!!
Isn't it! Thank you, appreciate you watching.
I like that extra cover. Nice to see some innovation.
I agree! Thanks for watching.

Nice, glad it's working well for you
What power consuption you have during stresstest?

Are the fans Argb plugs or compatible it looks like an Argb pmug
Yeah it's ARGB
Great video. Do you think it would be possible to use this on a 14900ks?

I'm planning to buy this AIO, can it fit in the O-11D Mini?
From looking at the we page it seems so.
I have a Ryzen 7 9700x, do you think this would be a good one for it? I have a cooler master 360L, but still feel like I’m running hot.
You shouldn't need to upgrade, a decent air cooler should be fine for that cpu. What temps are you getting?
Very nice
Thanks for watching!
Got a 7800X3D cpu. Would this be a good cooler for this?
Yeah, for sure

I always reply ☺ Good luck
$336 Asus ROG cooler gets destroyed by a $129 cooler (Dark version) of arguably better build quality.
Performance alone yeah, depends if you want a screen though.
