- I KNOW THIS IS NOT MARK'S AQUATICS, BUT THOUGHT I'D THROW THIS OUT THERE IN CASE ANY OF YOU GUYS HAVE ONE OF THESE..GEARBOX OIL CHANGE ON MY DISCOVERY TD5 2004 ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK.

Cheers for taking the time to make this video. I have an American 2003 4.9 L Petrol in Portugal and I intend to change all the oil on it. Main, gearbox, diff, etc. so I appreciate your video. I’m not to keen to take the gearbox sump off completely. My question is do you think that should ???? I have the Jeep ten years but only put 5k miles on it in all that time. It has 45k miles in total. Now that I’m semi retired I intend to use it more often. Also what’s your opinion on running the Jeep on LPG. would it be worth my while to convert it. Cheers pat.

@@MARKSAQUATICS hi I've got a pre face lift discovery 2 auto was running lovely and smooth but a day or 2 ago seems like it's missing 2nd gear tell wormed up then changes fine no warning light drives then over revs tell 30mph then changes gear once warm changed at about 15,20mph then 30 and so on any help would a gearbox services kit help
Hello, I am about to buy the fluid and send to the mechanic to replace it. Is it really 9 Litres for the auto gearbox? I saw you had two 5 Litre jugs.... so I will assume 9L should do it. Land Rover Manual says 9.1L, your input please. Thanks.

Great video 👍 I'm about to do mine this evening. When you've topped up, do you refill each time you select a gear reverse, 3/2/1 etc if that makes sense.

Hi. Once its full put the bung back in and start it up. let it run for a bit then just go through the gears forwards and back a few times so the gearbox can draw the oil around the gears ok. then put in neutral hand break on of course go back under remove the bung with engine running still and refill until oil starts coming out the refill hole wait unit it self levels and return the bung and your away.👍😀
