This channel is extremely underrated! Great insights!
Grab and Gojek are founded by classmates? This is some korean drama level shit
Grab really helped us "probinsyanos" from being taken advantage of by dishonest taxi drivers in Manila (I myself was a victim of one with a tampered meter). Whenever I land at NAIA I immediately book a Grab Car to transport me to my destination with zero worries. I don't mind paying extra as long as I feel safe.
True, but then again Grab just made 'contracting' or the effect of tampering meters by the taxi drivers NORMAL and legitimate by their SURGES! And those surges are huge.
So what's the diff??
@@LarryfromPH The difference is found in my last sentence lol
I’m an Uber driver here in California and I can say safety is measured when you know your driver info is already registered on your app as rider and replicated or mirrored from the driver side. Taxi driver on the contrary, has nothing until u ride with them and get to know them in person during your trip, that’s if there’s any kind of conversation at all exchanged from their personal life.
Dear youtuber, you have a fantastic channel, really. Very educative, just what i needed. Grz 🇹🇷🇧🇪
Thank you so much! Really appreciate it 😊
Solid content in quality and quantity all within 17 minutes - well done!! Seems like the channel did lots of research, good.
First time hering thsi reason why Uber left all those years ago, glad that this channel talked about this
This is very helpful. Thank you!
You need more exposure, keep up the good work
Thank you! This means a lot! 😊🙏
Nice compilations of brands. Just finished watching your Gcash
This is a good video and insightful. Keep up the good work. Considering you have done a number of videos in the Philippines I hope you can cover Philippine Brands that are no longer available like Serge Chocolates or Tivoli Ice Cream aka Presto Ice Cream. Here is a suggestion of a subject in which companies like Kenny Rogers Roasters, Readers Digest, or even to am extent Toys R Us in which these companies are mostly gone in the US or Europe but are still available in Asia. Namely how these supposed gone companies still are active outside their country of origins.
Bro! Pila ko na ka adlaw gina enjoy imo channel pero ulihi ko na na discover nga ilonggo kaman gali! Absolutely enjoyed the content so far. God speed and God bless sa growth sang channel🙏🏼
I can't imagine this video is having only 1.3k views 😳
Hello. Thanks for the very informative video!
Question - we’re in the states and planning to go to southeast Asia in October.
I’ve downloaded Grab but have not yet signed up. Reason being, Grab will take our US phone number.
When we get to Asia I will get a local SIM card and number. Obviously our US number will not work.
Should I wait until we get to Asia with the local SIM number before signing up?
Awesome content!! Thank you
you should do an update as they've expanded in finance and more entenched in other countries
Thinking about starting a food delivery app on my province in ilocos area. How do I get started ? Do I need to consult with the government in the Philippines first ? Or I can just start my entrepreneurial venture right away?
Amazing video!
Great channel, you got one more subscriber!!
wow are you really from ph ? this is so amazing
Nice content, kabayan! Subscribed. 😁
Underrated
Grab 💚
Your comparison of market share of Grab and Gojek seem off the thin air.
Interesting seeing some Hong Kong footage there when talking about "grab in Southeast Asia" and "didi in China", while Uber is actually the leading Taxi Hailing app in HK lollll
2/.2 bilion dollars could chump change also am I wrong that Tencent has a stake with grab?
I'm currently building a similar app in Africa. Can someone tell me how grab allowed cash payment in those respective countries while avoiding side dealings between driver and passenger?
Awesome app to replicate in Africa, considering getting on board too. Maybe we can collaborate and share ideas?
side dealing between driver and passenger is risky to both parties in terms of insurance coverage, i.e insurance will not cover anything outside the app job/order. additionally rating system will penalize the driver/passenger who cancel the job/order, those who frequently do side dealing will have very bad rating
Tapos Ang mhal Ng delivery charge 59 pesos
Welcome to Malaysia where you breed genius and succesfull people and threw away them like a garbage and end up regret it
hi sir can you create video about calamansi app ?
I am writing this just when Grab is about to go public via SPAC.
excuse me can u tell me what's it meant by going public?? sorry im not understand much about business
@@anasboyka7557 making their shares publicly tradable with their IPO, which means more investors and shareholders.
Came up with idea? How is copying Uber coming up with idea? That’s like Columbus discovering America with Native Americans on it!
Anthony tan and that lady are not smart.
Even now grab is horrible.
Copy everything from other's.
Blood sucking apps.
Ideas are nothing without execution.
Uber just cannot execute and failed.
Haha. Finally. Someone addressed the elephant in the room
I heard Uber operated in Manila Philippines quite a bit then disappeared. Heard rumors that the government wanted to tax them so much that Uber decided to call it quits. Is this true at all? Anyone know what exactly happened? Pls share
what is meant by going public?
Going public typically refers to when a company undertakes its initial public offering, or IPO, by selling shares of stock to the public, usually to raise additional capital. Going public is a significant step for any company and you should consider the reasons companies decide to go public.
Grab is the company of Malaysia but Grab is moved to Singapore, Because Economy of Malaysia is have a big problem.
