- We upgrade more stuff than ever before. This includes our favorite moles so they work faster than ever which means more oil and more profits. Plus the will occasionally find some buried treasure which doesn't hurt at all. Next I simply want the scan so I can instantly identify what's under the ground instead of guessing or waiting on the moles. Turmoil: The Heat Is On gameplay with my commentary as always!

so let us sum up : )
1: Need magma upgrade or else drilling in magma won't do anything.
2: Go to the tavern. You are missing some helpful yearly events.
3: You can drill gas using the pipes under the left and right (might need an upgrade)
4: Ending the level earlier than December gives you bonus money.
5. Connecting pipes of different towers shares their upgrades, can be cheaper than buying them again
6. if you're not using the gas to spike prices anyway, us it to force oil out of the ground
7. if theres air in the lower pipes, upgrade the one above...

The amount of oil he's spilling, is insane. Why he started on the DLC, is beyond me.

I don't really see an issue with how he's playing. Enjoying the game and slowly picking up tidbits.
You're missing key upgrades. Drilling magma isn't doing you any good.
You don't need an oil rig to get the gas deposits. You can use the pipe below the ace where you sell oil.

You can stack silos, up to three, and they triple the storage. Like super duper better than just regular silos

Hey DF, one tip I haven't seen in the comments yet:
You seem to be clicking on the inc. arrows when you want to change how many horses go there, but you can scroll the mouse wheel on the right and left side respectively to increase, and I find it is much faster.

Thats like buying a strip mine and trying to find materials....instead of making it a giant landfill.
If you click on the earnings bar while in the oil field a screen should pop up that will let you leave the land early for a small bonus.

You can end your plot season/oil mining early and actually get more money for ending it early.
Upgrading pipes at the start is more detrimental than helpful. It increases the amount of oil brought up to the surface which means that your horses won't be able to keep up with the abundance

If you stop the year before december first then you get an early ending bonus, like the bonus for getting all of the oil out of the ground
You know you can get loans from the bank instead of pledging to one of the incs
Dan, if you're out of oil before December, click the finances button (the money) and break the lease. You get some money out of it, the earlier you break it the more money you get

This may have already been mentioned, but with the joint upgrades you can have multiple lines running out from the same oil rig. Each of these joints allows for max oil flow from the reservoir it's connected to.

Your magma aren’t working, are you sure you have the correct technology purchased? It suppose to show a red orange ish outline when it’s magma accelerated

If you click the money counter, it opens a menu that has some useful stuff in there including stop level early, and loans (so you don't have to commit to one side if you don't have enough money at the start)
You are out of oil when the douser kid walks off screen without whistling, to save you a few hundred.
You can combine the oil rigs and when you do they share upgrades like mining speed and the drill.
DF if you finish the map before the end date you can talk to the mayor/click on date and you will get a good amount of bonus money!!!!!!!

DF, if you click on the date you can end the level faster than waiting for the end of the year (unless they changed it from the old version)

Hey DF watched you for a long time, every since Stardew, really like this series . Love that learning curve you showed 2
DF if you sell all the oil and you need to wait, if you are not on dicember, you can ''sell'' the land and you will have a bonus, in the date you can sell it and finish the level
If you are confident your map is depleted, you can click on the calendar and release your land lease. that will allow you to end the map early and get a bonus of 1 grant for ending early. if you depleted everything AND sold everything that is 3k by just playing fast.

You should connect your drills. If you upgrade one all of them that are connected get upgraded even if connected after an upgrade
Scans are going to be fun and if you connect the pipes between different rigs they share the upgrades like speed and drilling through rock
I like this series.
If the oil is coming too fast and you are about to spill, you can close the pipe to stop pumping for a little bit.
Maybe dont just get the biggest pipe every time so you dont end up with tons of spillage every level
“I’ll just straight up close this one off for now, my horse’s can’t keep up, my [storage] is already full, and I need prices to come back up.” DF at least already has more sense than most of the real E&P executives atm.
You really need only one well and then just make a big pipe tree from that point
df,i have some tips. tip 1:find the horse hotkey.i have seen it save youtubers from spilage. tip 2: if you think you have gotten all the oil,you can end early for a cash boost. its in the pause menu i belive.
There's a button to skip to the end of a year. That gives you +2000$ so worth it

The horses only carry as much oil as they can get out of the well not actually how much they can fit in their cart !!
Also you can connect rigs to each other to both upgrade to the drill !! If one has one the other that gets connected will auto upgrade
If you run out of stuff to mine you can select the money counter at the top and select "end year" and you will get some money back if its not the last month of the year.

( Psst, heey, if you connect two oil rigs together, and if one has any upgrades, then both of the rigs gain them for free, even if one of the rigs didn't have it previously )
You get extra 1k plus change for finishing before December if you return the land - just click on the date!
place 3 oil storages next to each other to create a big one that stores more oil (it's way more efficient)

You can expand the gas pockets using heated pipes. From what I've seen from other youtubers. Just this you should be able to get the prices even over 3 dollars.
if u click on the date before the run ends, u can end early. It wod also give u money depending on how early u end
If you press on the calandre you can withdraw three land lease early and get some money for it
If I recall right if you finish early you can get a little money bonus for ending early

Hey DF, once you get more connection upgrades, I would recommend only putting down one drill and building off that one, it’ll save you some cash

It is better to use one or two rigs but max out the branch limit so that you use less money on rigs and can upgrade more things/ buy more. YOu just branch out from the one rig to get to the other spots

You should use 3 dowzers right at the start and if the dowzers find anything use 2 moles per dowsez
