Thank you for these videos! I can relate to every single trigger you mentioned, including the being watched thing! If I’m walking and feel as if I’m being looked at, I can’t help but go stiff and then it makes walking so much harder! Cold definitely is a big trigger for me- particularly between my shoulder blades. If I get too cold in that area, it makes my entire body go stiff and I can’t do anything until I get warmed back up. I live in Michigan, and the weather change from summer to fall also seems to make my spasticity worse.

I am in my 40's and I have noticed my Spasticity and stiffness have gotten much worse as I have gotten older.
The comments about the cold I can totally relate to. Some days it takes me almost an hour to get out of bed because I will be so stiff that I have to concentrate just to move one thing at a time because I feel like I am having to fight my muscles the whole time just to use them. It is so frustrating.
It is interesting that you talked about your arm or foot falling asleep making it worse, because I have the same issue.
Years ago during what was my last hamstring lengthening the surgeon had to stretch one of the nerves in my leg. Because of this my foot always feels tingles that it is right on the verge of falling asleep and is very sensitive to touch. My doctors told me that would eventually go away, but even though it has gotten a little better over the years, it has never really went away and I do not think that it ever will.
After my surgery it was a mental battle for months to even wear a sock on that foot (which was a pain, because I have bad circulation in my legs and feet anyway so they are always cold.) Then it was another month + to mentally train myself to stand having a shoe on or putting weight on that foot after the surgery. Even today if anything touches that foot unexpectedly, or it goes all the way to sleep for some reason my whole body stiffens up.
Another thing that effects me poorly is the rain, between my muscles tightening and my arthritis that I developed at a young age because of the stress on my joints that is about as bad as the cold.
Keep the videos coming. I just subscribed today.
