  • Living with Cerebral Palsy: Did i give up by using a mobility Aid
By trying to show a more positive approach to a common physical disability Cerebral Palsy. I want to let people know they are not alone in the struggles. To let parent's of newly diagnosed children to know there is hope beyond the initial diagnosis and that their children can go on to live full, productive and happy lives.

No Blemi you didn't give up ❤ when I was 23 that is when I noticed I had to use four wheeled walkers and the first time I had to use the walkers I threw a fit. I'm 34 now and I understand that the walkers help me to get around outside. And even with the walkers I have to sit down a lot to take a break when I'm walking outside. I use 2 canes to hold on to when I'm inside the house I know I will never be able to walk by myself anymore and sometimes I have to wear my knee braces because my knees get very weak. Thank you so much Blemi for your videos you really make my day.

I’m so glad to know that other people understand. Even if it’s not ideal for either of us!

You didn't give up. Always remember that. I am 42. I also have Spastic diplegia cerebral palsy. We walk a little differently... Just remember that your CP will change as you age. My advice would be to do whatever makes you comfortable. That will allow you to keep your independence. In the end, your independence is the most important thing. I am partial to walking sticks or canes. It allows me to have a free hand which makes it easier to open doors. I'm happy to hear you are doing well
