I really like this format Pastor Mark uses of short videos giving us a taste of the longer ones. And then linking to the longer ones.
Read Deuteronomy 13:1-3. Do you think what he said matches? Remember he said that the prophecies of a false prophet won't come to pass. The verses I just gave you doesn't seem to match what he just said.
As The Flock WE MUST check doctrine against Scripture. Even Mark. He would agree with me. This is how I know he is using The Sword Of God. Life is so much better with Jesus now.
Read Deuteronomy 13:1-3 does it fall in line with what he said? I don't think it does.
I will also say this. Why is it that everytime you see a video like this everyone in the comments is praising these people. All these people I know can't be for God. But it's as if they all are because nobody is saying nothing. Is anybody going behind these people to check to see if what they are saying is true? The bible says we should.

The test of a prophet was 100% accuracy. Anything less was false. We are told to test them.
But how do you test them? How would you "test" Noah? He prophecied the flood for 120 years while he physically did something about it, he built the ark. How would a common ordinary mind judge him? There had never been rain before, let alone the amount Noah talked about. Up until that time, everything was automatically watered by underground springs. Your best bet is to go straight to the source, and ask God about what's true and what's false. Don't judge according to your flesh mind, what is "commom." Keep a strong spirit and let it confer with God. He knows what He said and to whom He said it. "Common sense" won't get it -- it's "Common." God is not common. He'll surprise you every time!

Mark missed one: the false prophet also turns people away from the commandments of God. (Deut 13:1-5). Something for all believers/preachers to pray through today.
Never thought of it that way. There are always less real prophets than false prophets.

I agree. The news people are not prophets. Back then, the news was spread by word of mouth. Prophets were people who PREDICTED things. They say that "The Lord said." That is not news people. The false prophets were folks who said, "Thus saith the Lord," and it did not happen. People of the cloth like Julie Green, Katt Kerr, and other so-called Christians.

We do not have prophets in our times, we live by faith not by sight, 2 Corinthians 5:7. Prophesies has ceased or fails, 1 Corinthians 13:8 and we only have false teachers 2 Peter 2:1. We cannot do things that were done under the Law, for the Law is not of faith, Galatians 3:12. So, if God is coming to people and making himself known that would destroy faith. God bless

It should also be noted that a false prophet speaks for a politician to God, not just to the people. A false prophet will tell God that THIS is the way it should and must be, and He must be an utterly cruel, heartless God if He doesn't completely, totally, utterly endorse and condone what the false prophet (and by extension, the politician) says is good.

@bruce8961 A false prophet thinks that either he himself IS God, or that the one he speaks for IS God. Since he or the one he represents is God, that person therefore has the right to redefine reality, redefine morality, etc, and therefore tells God that THIS is the way it must be and will be. He will also tell us this as well.
If we do not abide by this redefinition of reality, then we must be destroyed.
Effectively, the false prophet is an agent of change, and not for the better. Saying and declaring that a person can be a cat or that a person/corporation can steal means that it is now reality that a person IS a cat, and that person can live off of me.
@@DaDitka Where do you come up with all of that? A False Prophet is one that predicts this or that will happen. And they're prediction don't happen. Some are behind The Pulpit preaching a different Gospel only there for the money or Telling the Lost Congregation that God tells him what to do and what to preach
@@bruce8961 Because a false prophet does not only predict. He also teaches and declares something in the name of his god, whether it is himself or another. What did Elijah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Zechariah, and even Jesus and his apostles do? They taught as well.
Besides, I'm not convinced that prophets only told the future in the sense that God directly reveals what will specifically happen. Thry also teach what will happen if you go down a certain path. They teach reality and the laws of sowing and reaping.
I don't see where the disagreement is. I completely agree that there are many behind the pulpit trashing the truth. Actually, you just proved my point by saying that a false prophet predicts, it doesn't come true, and some of them (your words) are behind the pulpit preaching (teaching) a different gospel.
The natural types the spiritual there are false teachers, preachers and prophets in these churches. God is pulling off the covers and exposing darkness! Jesus is soon to come. The LOVE of money is the root of all evil
