I have the same drone and it works perfectly. 1.you should put the guards on the ends to protect from damaging if it crash. 2. Always take off and land in grass areas if you our learning how to fly.

With everything in life YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I bought this drone for $45 with 3 batteries on Ebay knowing it was a toy, I fly it around to scout locations mostly not to really film and especially not to use for a client. Obviously you didn't read ANY of the directions cause I glanced through the quick start guide and it calibrated and flew perfectly. It's a cheap drone, no real multi-axis gymbal, no obstacle avoidance, not a true return to home, 200 ft wifi reception at best...you should expect nothing more - again it's a toy this is NOT for someone looking to make $ or expecting this to be even 1/20th experience of a DJI drone you are sadly mistaken.

Depends on what type of pilot you are. This is good for a child but not for a professional or enthusiast.
