There is something out there that you might call a "WinG Box". The Tandy VIS was a multimedia console running Modular Windows, a predecessor to Windows CE based on Windows 3.x. It competed with the likes of the Philips CD-I and Commodore CDTV and sold very poorly even compared to those syatems.
If it's not the korg m1, triton, or wavestation vsts then it's probably some other random samples i have lying around (best service, sound ideas, spectrasonic, etc) that are from the era i'm going for. Sometimes I use random Roland vsts too if I'm particularly desperate (I only tend to use those for actual music)
