I just test drove a 2023 A Spec MDX (in Canada) and pretty much the only option that is not there is the 360 camera, everything else from heated steering wheel, to AC seats and whatnot is there. It's a mega nice upgrade (technology wise) from my 2019 MDX.
So I own a Acura MDX 2022 aspec and I’m wondering if you can change the color for only a specific more de.For example if I am on normal mode,and the color would be orange.And if I switch to a different mode like sport,it can be red.And when I switch back to normal,it can be orange.Can you do that?
Can the big display be turned off, all that glare has to be annoying in dark highways. I am looking to purchase A-spec MDX 2022. Currently own a 2011 MDX
I like the vehicle itself, but i don’t like the buttons gear shifter and the way it looks at night also. It is one of the reasons why I don’t buy Type-s. They’d better do smth similar to audi q7, not high gear selector, but pretty looking. That won’t add extra buttons to the place where there are already a lot of functional buttons. Add touch screen ability at least while you are not moving. And maybe replace wireless charging plate with the vertical gap where you can put your phone and it will charge. That might save place to improve storage capacity and phone will never slide anywhere if you are driving active. Also if it has wireless connection to car play or android auto I don’t care if i see the screen directly
Great review. I am getting conflicting statements on the ambient lighting for the Base model. Does the Base model have a single color ambient light strip or not? Please settle this deal breaker for the new MDX.
Are all the interior lighting (including all the buttons) LED or regular bulbs? Hope it's all LED. It'll be a nightmare to replace all the burnt out bulbs years down the road.
Wow, I thought I had a lot to learn with my Highlander 2021 XLE. Nice looking but still love mine better. You like that more than your Venza or Highlander?
Hi Susan! Truthfully I like the Highlander better. So smooth. Really like the MDX. Probably like it better than Venza but it’s 20k more than my Venza too hah
@@dadoo985 Personally, MDX has a quieter cabin but Highlander will last longer. I did drive my friends 2022 MDX and it is nice and a bit quieter on my Highlander !

I really hate the fact they don't offer heated steering, HUD, or 360 cam for Aspec model
Considering it is a sport model it is also missing the adjustable suspension.
Aw that’s sucks heated steering would have been perfect
They just added all those features for the new 2022 RDX Aspec so who knows, they could be adding to the MDX soon too.

The MDX is some kinda HOT! I'm a Honda guy at heart but I still love my 1 year old Rav4 XSE hybrid. Great video Jeff.

Is there a way to pick a color changing mode? For example, the colors fade into each other in a rainbow, or, pick a custom color?

You have it in auto in dark areas the high beams turn on till it senses an oncoming vehicle or surrounding light

You have to go advance to get full ambient lighting…5k for ambient lighting lol
