All I can say is All Hail Shadow.
Fast Friends Forever is basically everything we received last year dealing Sonic Tails Knuckles and Amy, which included Sonic Mania Plus, Sonic Superstars, Sonic Frontiers Final Horizon, and Sonic Dream Team (and of course Sonic Prime). All of these had specific focus on Sonic's first friends, so if that is the case, we can expect alot of Shadow content and maybe just maybe Sonic X Shadow Generations may not be the only Shadow game we get this year! I am either calling another new Sonic game with emphasis on Shadow or even a bundle re release of Shadow's journey in SA2, Heroes, Shadow, and 06.

Real talk, I do wish we had more actual traditional games to buff up this Year of Shadow campaign. As Sonic X Shadow + Movie 3 is basically carrying it clearly... and that's near the end of the year lol. Won't complain at all if its worth it though. And I wouldn't mind a delay if necessary.
Regardless, just happy Shadow is getting another chance to shine at all. Here's hoping for other characters getting that same energy in the future.

I REALLY hope that Amy and Rouge are in Sonic 3 so that it can be a faithful adaptation of Adventure 2, with Biolizard, Gerald Robotnik, Maria, Gun and all. I’ve heard something about Metal Sonic being in it, but I do hope Sonic 4 is a Heroes adaptation where they bring in Espio, Vector, Charmy, Cream, Big and Omega to round out the core cast, and with Metal Overlord as the main threat, because you can do that without Eggman, so you can give Jim Carrey a break for a bit. I don’t really see Silver ever appearing in the movie universe purely down to how complicated the story would be. I’m a little disappointed that an Adventure adaptation didn’t happen first, because I would have loved to see that with some elements of Advance for Sonic 3 to set the serious tone going into an Adventure 2 adaptation, but it could happen later down the road. The only other games I could see get adapted after Adventure, Adventure 2 and Heroes are maybe Rush, Colours and Unleashed, so they could introduce Blaze, Chip and the wisps as one off characters so they can still increase the cast more, but I feel like they wouldn’t be as direct of an adaptation as the others as the core cast would most likely appear too, Frontiers and Lost World I’d argue have a smaller chance for an adaptation than them, but could still happen. I think they’ll probably stay as far away from 06 and Forces as humanly possible, and not adapt Generations due to the fact that it just wouldn’t work.

Shadow does smile quite often, it's when he gets the upper hand on his opponents like in Sonic Prime when he fought Sonic in the season 2 premiere. In fact, the only times he doesn't smile are in 06 and the meta era.

Shadow does smile. He smiles in Sonic Adventure 2, while putting the first Chaos Emerald into the Eclispe Canon, during the cutscene where He is explaining what the Eclispe Canon is. Shadow also smiles in Sonic 06, he smiles for a second when he attempts to reseal Mephilis.
My point is, while it is rare, he does in fact smile.
This is all one step closer to him finally having a gun again.
Acknowledging Black Doom was something they couldn't avoid forever, and his bike is something thats been canon for quite a while but they don't ever acknowledge it in the games, plus his bike still has the machine guns carried over since 06. So SEGA is so close to fully embracing everything Shadow 05 established, but will they have the balls to give Shadow a gun again and fully embrace it as a part of his already massive arsenal?

15:00 im gonna be a nerd idc but that's a sega nomad (portable genesis) not a game gear. you can adjust the brightness with a dial and the screen looks better straight on rather than at an angle. you can also plug it into a tv so that you don't have to use the screen on it

I think if Sega is gonna adapt all of those games into movies/tv shows, they should give the older fans something too. Doesn't even have to be Sonic, it can be Phantasy Star, Yakuza, Crazy Taxi, Altered Beast, House of The Dead, Streets of Rage, SHINOBI, ect. You know what I mean? Give everyone a reason to go to the movies. :)

Not saying that he resents Heroes or anything but still. That being said, it IS pretty strange they completely glossed over it, since Heroes was a fairly huge turning point for the series and Sonic Team.

if it's sa2 movie for sonic 3, then both amy and rouge should be in it since amy is in sonic CD, or game boy sonic advance if you want to be pedantic, AND rouge was in SA1/2, and SA2 expanded on SA1 and came after SA1 thus everyone should be up to speed. also shadow the hedgehog takes place around SA1/SA2.
It’s not an SA2 movie; it’s a movie that will be borrowing certain elements from SA2. The same way the Marvel Infinity saga borrowed the basic premise from the comics but with only a few characters and story beats. It’s inspired by SA2; but not literally SA2. Whatever the writers came up with want need Amy or Rouge assuming they really want be in.
@@shangothunder1055 premyderemy literally said in an ideal scenario that both shoulld/would be included, it's not that at all what you said because in the movie adaptation of avatar the last airbender, although a bad movie, took *most* elements from the source material. same with the reason why paramount changed the design of sonic in the first movie.

Adding Amy and Rouge would require the entire movie to be rewritten and shot which is never happening. Going into this movie expecting to see SA2 but in live action is setting yourself up for disappointment.

In the early 2000s there was next to no 2D plataformer at the time
people would l just say ``but we don't need 2D games anymore because we have 3D ones``
that was until NEW Super Mario Bros relased, showing that 3D games have their advateges but they will never be able to replace 2D games
and just like that, I think though Modern Sonic has advanteges, It will never be able to replace Classic Sonic
that is why having them both will cause the best of both worlds

At least that game let Shadow care for Team Dark n let him crack a smile at the end when the resistance beat Eggman n Infinite. Shadow might be a typically anime anti hero like Vegeta n Sasuke where he always stand on business when it comes to completing a task and ain't all talkative like the protagonist, but I like anti heroes who grew from their dark past and starts to show respect for the protagonist (Even if they don't want to admit) and crack a smile towards their friends, which shows how much they grown from their dark past.

They already confirm that they want to give the Sonic Universe the Avenger level status so pretty sure Shadow will still be alive. Plus there's also the rumor Shadow spinoff
