Great video. I have worked with Cisco (From the Catalyst 5500, 6500 and 4500 series to Nexus 7000 series, ACS, wifi), Juniper (all different models including firewall modules/code), HPE (including Aruba wifi). Just started learning Arist VEOS using GNS3 and Vmware. I learned about Arista 7+ years ago. Their sales model was at the time geared toward low latency approach such as video on demand and video conferencing. Then I learned their price point for datacenter connections for 1Gb connectivity was remarkable.
Working on layer2 switching for 2 decades now, been busy & still scratching the surface of technology, amazing knowledge and skills required for above OSI layers.
@@StyxShow I am not a technical guy....I am looking at this as an investment idea.... normally big company like CISCO or Juniper would steam roll arista....but there has to be something that Arista can do...

Thanks man! You should take ACE L3 and ACE L5 certs.
This video is just amazing, Dean just summarizes the entire Arista portfolio.
Thanks Ben! Its amazing company, amazing product! Network Engineers and IT practitioners in general should know about it!

As an IT professional, we have to expand our knowledge. Learn the newest advanced technologies. Always go to another level.
yesss! thx!
Very underrated man.
So basically Arista network is able to do what CSCO and Juniper are unable to
Like what?
@@StyxShow well I don't know...
But the kind of revenue growth it has , CSCO does not have.....which means their network solutions are not generic....
Lets just say Arista is more advanced. Many people and org dont know it. Specially in Asian counties (except India)

Arista CANADA/Quebec had the worst service. I work in IT for more than 25 years... I just can't recommended them for that.
How about the technology itself?
