- In this video Striker takes a minute to talk a bit about himself, his Cessna 170, and flying. The Cessna 170 is a popular back country aircraft for a good reason. Parts are readily available for both the engine and air frame, its easy to fly, and good ground handling. GMBCo. members own a variety of tailwheel and classic aircraft. The channel will have future videos featuring other members and their aircraft, these will include the Piper Comanche, Stinson 108, Cessna 172, Cessna 182, and more. Leave us comments below with questions you would like us to include in future interviews.

Breath taking machine. I even liked the music!
Really nice plane!!! It's great to see a well keep C170. I was yelling "Centerline" with your video, I think I am too stressed to be an instructor.
Excellent. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching?
Ya gotta love a good wallhanger! ;)
Landings are now down to around 170' and takeoff's under 500' with a cruise prop. Still more work to do on takeoff performance.
I love his leather cover with the headphone inserts. I’ve been looking at a few of them at shorty’s. By the way does he have the goggles to go with them or not. Not trying to be rude or funny I really do like them, guess I may be a little strange I recon. Y’all have a wonderful day.
The goggles are for open cockpit operations, think of them as an individual window for each eye. So in a closed cockpit you wouldn't wear goggles.
@@GreatMichiganBushCo I understand why and where they would need them I was just curious if he has them. I didn’t mean on his person at that time.I’m sorry I guess maybe my question sounded dumb. Once again you have a great week. Also thank you for the reply.
Where did u find that stick to dip the tanks? I see them for 172’s. Wasn’t sure it it’s same tank. Thanks.
There is a generic straw you can purchase and calibrate it yourself. The tank is the same as early 172's but with the tail low attitude they readings differ.
How difficult is getting a pilots certificate? I have always wanted to be a pilot but don’t know where to begin. Where is a good place to start.
Go to your local smaller airport and ask. On the field you will probably find a fuel vendor who rents aircraft and provides flight instruction. Even if there is not a vendor you should not hav a difficult time finding a flight instructor at the terminal if you just ask. Most pilots will be more than happy to direct you two someone who can help you get a pilot cert. The first step is getting to the airport.
That looks like a very nice airplane. Is it as easy to fly as a Cessna 172?
It’s as easy to fly as a Cessna 172, the landing can require a little more skill depending on the conditions. It requires an endorsement from a CFI stating you are proficient in flying tailwheel aircraft.
Good video , " music " SUCKS !
looks like KVLL
