- This is a walk around of a heavily modified 1994 Toyota Celica GT4 ST205 purchased recently from the Japanese Car Auction for a European customer.

i have fallen back in love for the Four...this is the Best Example i have ever seen, TRUELY AMAZING. i had a worked 97 Calidina as well as 2 Fours Celicas and 3 Heavily moded AE101's and 2 AE111's. i can tell you that this Four right here IS a GEM . i wish i had your job just to be graced with the presence of such Amazing machines. sooo cool thanks man

That's what they look like from the dealer with all options (stock kit), except for the front lip, wheels and for some reason they swapped out the sick factory hood for an ugly AM one other wise pretty stock

currently in my moms front yard I have a 1994 Celica gt4 205 import sitting with no engine and a stripped interior as she waits for me to save enough to put In a LT4 supercharged 376ci/ 6.2L engine but until then she just sits there all pretty

On of the cleanest 205's I've seen yet. Also has a motor swap. Looks like a complete gen4 can't tell but it has the side feed intake and COP. I wish we could have these in California. I would buy one in a heart beat.

Total waste, they are rally-based cars that grip on pavement. Front wheel drive platform that would probably need to be reworked for a big enough driveshaft anyway.

I'd guess in the $6-8000 range due to the rare JDM parts and low KM's, my 98 ST205 had 110,000 km and was 90% stock and it sold for $2500 CAN at the auction in japan

Ben Chesterman Wow really? Why? Mine were shipped across the ocean and all in to drive it home was $8k for my ST205 and $3k less for my 99% stock ST185RC with only 80,000km. Not sure why it would costs $10k more for half the distance, maybe you guys have a crazy mark up on your import laws?

Ben Chesterman That's over double what we would have payed in CAN if the ST205 was an option on the 6th gen. The 5th gen ST185 last year of production was around $27K-33K in CAN.

100% chance this was a former Wangan racer!
0% chance. Celica GT4s are horrible wangan cars since they have full time 4wd. Those drivetrains bind up on itself and greatly restricts top speed. Which is why they also never sold well nor used outside of rallying where 80mph on dirt is considered fast but not much need to hit 300km/h. This is why the GTR is popular on the wangan, because it's AWD instead of 4wd, so the front 2 wheels are completely turned off going high speed in a straight line after initial acceleration makes use of the 4WD grip and the rear tires take over at higher speeds.

That's a very nice UKDM st 205. Unless the stock jdm 180kmh cluster guages were swapped out a UK spec with miles.

the side skirts and rear spats are TRD, youd need the gt4 front bumper and the front lip is the C-one (lots of copies available) have fun!

The 2JZ and 1JZ are really good engines and with proper modifications they last really long. The problem is the crazy mods they do than only are great for drag or dyno runs. If you watch drifting events in Japan, both profesional and amateurs you'll see a loot of 1/2 JZ with proper modifications and they last forever
Kim Chi 2jzgte’s are not overrated. If anything they’re underrated for what they can actually do in stock form. I can’t believe you’re saying an ls3 is better than a 2jzgte. We’re talking about motors built for boost not motors you have to work on to even handle boost. Can’t compare the two man. If you have the right setup on a 2jzgte, you won’t experience any lag either. With the new generation turbos that are out now, lag is a thing of the past on 900 plus hp cars and even some 1k hp cars.
Wouldn't fit. And wouldn't be an ST 205 or anything remotely like it if you gutted it to try and *make* one fit, then deliver the power. Transverse-mounted engine with AWD setup. Not what those engines are for.
