John Goodman can really play the entire spectrum of good to evil. I haven't watch this movie, but he went from giving very sound financial advice to offering what seems like a deal from the devil.

All such financial dealing is a deal with the devil Mike Cloveridge and the truly horrifying part is money isn't real and we could actually just give everyone what they need and everything would be fine-
Since 2008 the Fed & World Bank have pumped in $16,000,000,000,000 to the world economy in the space of only a few years and there was no noticable inflation......
Does it ever strike anyone else as strange how some people have so much of this made up stuff that they can get mansions in multiple countries while most people in the world live on less the $5 a day?
Doesn't it seem like total mass insanity that grown men can make enough money to buy a 20 room house in Beverly Hills playing ballgames or pretending to do something interesting in front a video camera so other people who know it's pretend can watch the recording later while pretending what they are watching is real but, a full time minimum wage employee doesn't make enough money to even rent a 1 room apartment anywhere in this country?
Does it seem batshit crazy that in Denmark a entry level position at McDonald's pays $24 an hour with paid sick days & paid yearly vacation & parental leave & comes with life insurance because that is minimum wage in Denmark and the whole country has universal healthcare, McDonald's pays all their employees their at least that and a big Mac there is only 27 cents more than in the u.s. but people are FREAKING OUT about raising the minimum wage to 15 an hour and saying it CAN'T be done while they ARE doing 24 an hour + sick days/vacation/parental leave/life insurance all paid as the minimum wage and still turning a profit?
I think our economic system here is something worse than crazy: I think it's a vast ugly evil scam.

This scene....I hate to sound all melodramatic....but it really got my attention. I have been in some experiences that wrecked me financially for a while. Some were my fault and some weren't. And I have seen the low down and nasty side of the banking industry. This scene....I watched it over and over. And I have to honestly say, this is some of the BEST LIFE ADVICE I have ever heard. This scene literally made me set the goal to be financially independent. In the last few years, I have worked hard....flipped a few houses, got a rental or two, made a couple of investments....and have gotten to the point that I don't need a bank anymore, to do what I want to do. Whenever I would get discouraged, I would watch this clip. It's some of the best advice I've ever gotten.
