  • Five months ago we pulled this old Jeep from the grave. In one week it’ll be hitting a trail. Rusty floor pans were in the “punch list” to get it ready. I had some amazing help from “man’s best friend” - maybe a little too much. #jeepcj #rusty #cj5 #offroad

Great work on the new floor! This is something my '73 CJ-5 needed really bad. My buddies would always joke that if I ever needed to wash my Jeep, I could just drive really fast through a puddle of water and clean both the inside and out at the same time because all the water would shoot up through the rusted out floor. I told them it was just a feature that made it easier to see my line when crawling since I could just look down through the floor. You tidied that floor up nicely. The coating on there looks good too. Great work overall!
I love the new seatbelts and WD40 can. Both fantastic additions!

Good Sunday Afternoon. Just a suggestion on those working with rusty bolts and parts. Try the penetration oil called Kroil . I've worked on old stuff including old antique engines, cars and farm equipment. It's the best stuff I've ever used and can save a man some grief. The jeep is getting closer and better. . I worked on mine all day yesterday too. If you can find it they make stuff called ivarest it helps pretty good. Stay safe on the the trip ✝️🙏

+1 on the Kroil. Ive been using it for over 20 years and I haven't found any better penetrating oil. It's a little expensive but at least it smells good.
