Did I Give Up On This Abandoned 1967 Mustang Too Soon?
This classic Mustang was put out to pasture 22 years ago! I even gave up on it a week ago. I couldn’t sleep until it ran under its own power one more time! Did the “second try” prove to be successful? #automobile #classicmustang #fordmustang #willitrun #mechanic #mustang #carparts #289v8 #australiancattledog #blueheeler

Will a 20 Year Abandoned 1967 Ford Mustang Run Again?
Переглядів 9 тис.Місяць тому
I pulled this classic Mustang out of the woods with a tree trunk in the rear bumper and all! It has a lot of valuable parts to complete a Mustang project I’m working on, however, I wanted to commemorate the life of this old Mustang with one last hurrah. Will it live long enough for that one last memory? #classicmustang #willitrun #automobile #restoration

This old truck has been in my possession for 47 years. My grandfather was the original owner. She sits in the barn a lot, but it is time to shake the dust off and put her back to use. Let’s plan a road trip to give us something to look forward to in the near future. Thanks for following along. #f100 #automobile #mechanic #fordf100

Colorado Red Mountain Mining Trail Went from Mild to Wild!

This is a beautiful trail between Ouray and Silverton Colorado. There are lots of old mines and nice trails. We had a little “issue” approaching the alpine level. However, it was not a “hill too big for a stepper!” 😂 #jeepcj5 #offroad #cj5 #sanjuanmountains

In 5 months this old Jeep goes from rusting back into the elements of the earth to conquering some of the best trails in North America! With a carburetor and points distributor we went “old school” and had a blast. The CJ was faithful and wheeled 6 hours and over 12 miles through mountain terrain! #sanjuanmountains #cj5 #offroad #jeepcj
Jeep CJ5 “Punch List!” Getting Ready for the Trip of a Lifetime.

It is a mad dash prepping the 1973 Jeep CJ5 for a trail ride in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. It has been a few years since this guy has prepped a machine for the trails. It is coming back and maybe it is a little harder than it was in the younger years? Regardless, the old Jeep and I are the same age. Well are in this thing together! #cj5 #jeepcj

A few days ago, I asked you whether I should complete a 1946 CJ-2A or a 1973 CJ5 to do some major trail riding soon. Both received many votes, but the CJ5 came out on top. Can you please tell us where you got the exhaust that goes from single to the dual
@@Thebombonlyone, my local exhaust shop made the Y pipe that you see in the video. The whole system was a custom setup by a local shop.
@TwoSticksHRR thank you very much for awnsering!! About how much did it cost if you don't mind me asking ? I want to do the exact same thing
@@Thebombonlyone it was between 350 and $400. I might would’ve paid a little more if he had asked. I was really pleased!
@TwoSticksHRR man it sounds so good!!! Did you have to get a new rear bumper for the two exhausts ?
@, it is a new valance below the bumper that had those cutouts.
But does it have a telescoping steering wheel?
Thanks for sharing your passion. And I agree. Time for America to find our passions again
Shes a Beaut!!
What's better than a God loving, pure American farmer? A God loving, American farmer, that is a 67 Mustang owner!! I worked for a local farmers Co-Op. Ran a 120 foot boom sprayer. I sprayed roughly 20,000 acres a season. Covered 9 counties. I am a combat Vet. And own several 67 Mustangs. God bless you, and thank you for being a true God loving American!! Your not in Marion Ohio are you?
Hey thank you for your service and dedication to this country! You covered a lot of ground! 😳 I’m actually in East Central Mississippi. Happy New Year!
The best part is seeing this thing rip across the pasture with your dog "chasing the stick" on the back of the car.
I really think Kip is the star of the show. He’s determined to be a part of everything, including stick running, just to be by my side. 😁 Happy New Year!
Rob Smith, you and your projects keep me awe. I am so blessed and proud to call you “friend” I can’t wait to see the end result of your hard work on this project
It’s 360p - can you please re upload? Happy new year 🎉
@@OMFGYUOTUBE, my original video is in HD/4k. Can you tell me what is happening to make it 360p?
I read that UA-cam actually releases the video at a lower quality until it finishes processing. That length of time depends on the length of the video. Maybe try again tomorrow and see what happens? Thanks for watching and Happy New Year. 🎉
Yes it’s 1080p now 🙏🏻 thanks for sharing 😊 keep them coming
@@OMFGYUOTUBE, I really appreciate you being so quick to watch! You definitely helped me learn something. There may also be better times to upload and different formats that may help the processing time. Thanks again for the feedback! 😁

What a fascinating story. Thanks for the insights.
I worked for a farmer that had one of these. I was 16, so it was only two years older than me. I am sure I didn't cold start it, cause it didn't take that much to start it.

Why didn't you address the nut on that rocker being backed way off ?
@@cliokid49 good eye! It wasn’t backed way off. There are 2 nuts on there. Apparently sometime in the past that nut was not staying in place. After the lifters pumped up that rocker seemed to be in perfect adjustment.

Couldnt tell by video. But is it solid enough to fix back also
@@jamesferrell9404 it is very rough and some may say it is too far gone. I’m not going to destroy it, but rather seal it somehow where it won’t continue to degrade. I have other projects pending that will need to take priority at the moment.

Do you have a constant hot to the distributor did u fill the bowls In the carburetor..car will start with 2 dead holes..
@@RoadHeros610, yes both bowls were filled and the dizzy was wired straight to the battery. The biggest concern I had was a knocking sound. When I finished the video I thought it was loose torque converter bolts. That is not the case. I’m afraid that I really only have 2 cylinders that are showing promise. @@Frank-o7u7f looking back it was a challenge! The transmission tunnel was the hardest thing to modify. I also recessed the firewall a little. I probably could’ve done things a little different, but I was determined to keep the transmission tucked and not cut a hole in the hood. It took a little head scratching, but well worth the effort!
