I agree that the government should not strike! As the NHS is an emergency service! So you need to go to work. And talk to your boss! But still work! I am only paid the national living wage! That is low pay! You have a good pay!
It's definitely a tricky one. What a lot of doctors would say is that even when they are on strike essential emergency services are still staffed- such as A&E or urgent operations.
Yes OK Emergency is still staff. But my Friend is in pain been waiting for an opinion. But being challenging the dates because of strikes! He is very low and can't leave the house! So this is giving big affect to people's life's!
I want to go Scotland. Could you do a video comparing Scotland and Englands healthcare systems, and advantages and disadvantages to both? Also, 1 hour of thug shake livestream is key to getting doctor raise (Rishi and Victoria Atkins told me fr)
Thank you for the coverage of this! Do you think this could come up in a med school interview? I've got mine in 2 weeks and I'm aware of the ongoing strikes, but should this be something I mention?
Best of luck! I think it's definitely a topic that could come up. I'd also be prepared for questions about the ethics of doctors going on strike in the first place- actual or potential harm to patients now vs the long-term good for the NHS.
@@drollie I would really appreciate it if you could also do a comparison between the Welsh and English NHS as well, I’d be really keen to see such a video! Thank you 😊
It is not fair, physicians, pharmacists and nurses have the right to protest if they see a huge injustice in the health care environment, especially when most health care professionals in the NHS make a fraction of the money others make in other places in the world

A harsh way to put it but I actually agree. It's a larger failing of a slipping 'middle class' within the UK. However, the reason I have no sympathy for junior doctors in particular is that after their training is complete they are guaranteed a solid salary. Seriously. Yeah, be aware of the ethical code because you have none. If you go on strike

Totally agree. It pretty much comes down to whether we have a right to strike as NHS employees or not.

They should be, right now Jr doctors and consultants are literally sacrificing patients over how many million they will retire on (more than 1)
