I wanted to throw in all the most inspiring things about Luke Skywalker into this -- his vulnerability, his simple goodness (and his darkness), his conviction to decide what to do with the wisdom he'd gained from his teachers in the Force. It focuses a lot on his Jedi powers -- his way with a lightsaber and an X-wing -- but by the end it's about his moral strength, his belief in Vader's goodness and his refusal to succumb to the hatred and bitterness that is the Dark Side.

Oh my gosh, what a beautifully heartfelt and uplifting Luke tribute! One simply can't not love his moral strength and willingness to believe there is hope even in the apparently most hopeless of causes. The way his love and understanding end up saving his father in the end will never fail to make me teary-eyed, and you highlighted this part perfectly - but I love that you also captured his lightheartedness and skill as a warrior, this truly felt like the most complete video on him I saw. Also great use of the deleted scenes! Gah, I think I'm just going to rewatch this for a while

I didn't have time to answer when you first made it but it's stayed with me because what you said is so, so true: Luke's moral core and optimism is what makes him special and what gives him so much strength and heroism in my eyes. Your video surely deserves a long comment because it's pretty evident how much thought you put into it, and it really shows how much you love the character! Plus, I always love finding good general SW editors and not only TFA-focused ones, my feed is a little too full of those these days and I'd love to see more OT/PT-oriented love instead

This video is uplifting and at the same time heart wrenching. You've perfectly illustrated Luke's young spirit and optimism that he starts out with and his incredible journey he takes throughout the movies. It also showcases his unfailing kindness and love for everyone around him, no matter the situation. Of course his fighting skills are a joy to watch too! I'm nervous about where his character is going in the next movies so I LOVE seeing the Luke I grew up with and adore. Thank you so much for understanding what this character means to people! 💜
I think what really hurts is that the Luke we saw in TFA has lost all of his fight and is broken. I hope I'm wrong...I don't know if I'm ready for that. 😔

I did not expect that song to work so well with Star Wars, but wow that was beautiful. Your video editing is fantastic as well. The audio clips taken from the movies fit nicely with the music and was not distracting at all. Also I totally got chills at 0:37 when the lyrics exploded onto the screen. ALSO I DIDN'T CLUE IN AT FIRST BUT THAT WAS HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN AT THE END?? I never realized they'd changed that, huh.

Anywho, brilliant move making a vid with Luke to this popular fight song! (Because we all know Luke is one heck of a fighter and pilot, and jedi, lol!) Well done with those VOs add such power to his already emotionally expressions. Along with the sound effects of the lightsabers! I think all that was my favorite part about this one. I see ya also added the lyrics again! They look marvelous and I like the effects you used.
My favorite parts had to be "...one match" and "explosion" at 0:24. Plus "powers turned on" at 0:48, "in too deep" at 1:14, along with the finale between Luke and Vader! Well done another masterpiece my friend. I'm soooo excited you're into Star Wars and making vids with it xD

My main MO is to take forever on something, or even never finish it at all. ~thinks of all the unmade videos, pics, and writings over the years...~ I was crazy lucky with this one. Had the inspiration and shoved it out like a madman. I actually started it this Sunday and worked on it all through Monday. Insane. But that's sometimes the only way I get things done nowadays. ~sigh~
Inspiration isn't always easy, especially when you have high standards. You shouldn't feel too bad about your career goals. Creative work always has its bumps in the road. With more skill and more practice, the easier and faster it will become. As long as you enjoy what you're doing, you'll be fine. :)
I like the VO's too!! Got that from some of the SW vids I've seen around. The lightsaber sounds really add something exhilarating to the action sequences. Much like Toothless' roar XP
