Sexual harassment and misogyny is still rampant in all the screenshots. What we need more than law enforcement is cultural change because whatever might be the new developments in this particular case, the fact is that rape culture exists in the country. One of the examples are people like you still defending men/women who support patriarchy which ultimately leads to sexual violence. It isn't the result of one disturbed mind, it's the result of decades of normalising sexual discrimination and misogyny, so much so that we are blind to it or feel too uncomfortable addressing it. Feminism is the absolute need of the hour and has been like that for centuries. @@dgbora1448 according to Varun Thakur, Karan wanted full control of SnG, and was not willing to run as a collective with the original members. The OG members(Neville, Aadar, Kautak and Varun) didn't align with Karan's idea and other creative ideas well.
Hence they split up and the sole control went to Karan. And we can see where this channel is now. Six feet under.

Whenever I've been in an all male group, conversation unfailingly veers towards male chauvinism, patriarchy and slut-shaming. Whats worse is it happens even in heterosexual groups when the women are away or leave.

I fully agree with your argument. All the women I know, including those in my family, have been sexually harassed at least once, while none of the men have been. Although sexual harassment of men is a real thing, however, harassment is gender-neutral offense. There is not an iota of doubt that women face more sexual harassment than men, despite being less in number. This calls for serious soul searching, especially when women have been an integral part of the social and economical ecosystem since the advent of modern civilization.

I feel there have to be nationwide courses in schools, colleges, and universities on mutual respect and consent. All the leading universities in the world have this. Universities in Delft, Zurich, and Singapore, have mandated to attend the lecture and clear exam (yes, there is an exam too) before being able to start the academic session/semester. You should take about the incident in which a girl disguised as a boy tried to sexually assault herself to test the character of her classmate.
