Who tuned your Infiniti or where do you go to get it tuned? Btw been watching for over a yr. keep it up brother
perfectly explained video
Does the g37x sedan awd have a vhr engine?
Yes
Yo boost, should I run test pipes or hi flow cats tho?
If you want power, get long tube headers
The difference between tp and hfc is really sound. Your looking at a 2-3 horse power.
@@jodywilbur7210 know its an old thread but you sound experienced with this sort of thing. I've got a '12 IPL and the cats must go. I want a lil more sound under throttle without an obnoxious idle, and fart free. I was already thinking hfc's, am I on the right track? And do you know which brand would give me a good aggressive sound without having to upgrade my stereo? Thanks in advance if you can help.
@@marcusclarkson2657 if you live in a state that has emissions testing i would go berk highflow cats. If no emissions go long tube headers or resonated test pipe or motordyne or cwerks test pipe. Any non res pipes will give you rasp.
@@jodywilbur7210 thanks Jody. Just also wondering if the Berk resonated test pipe has the tabs that mate with the exhaust brace. I know the FI resonated HFC do not, and I dont want the idle vibration I've heard comes with that. And wouldn't test pipes of any kind, res or not, be louder than HFC's? I Do want more sound, but not " my neighbors hate me" sound.
How much reliable power can the 3.7 make turbocharged on stock block?? And do you recommend turbos for this setup, I’ve had the 3.5 G35 years ago and they only had supercharger for it. Thanks
G37 stock block 700 reliable
Where can I get that trunk spoiler?
Did you ever make it to the dragstrip?
I love my G but I’m just going to do simple bolt one and just build a 240sx
So in cali go with hiflow cats
What u recomend for my g37. For test pipes nd exhaust I live in vegas nd I need to pass smog
Motordyne ART pipes and exhaust. They only do OBD2 test in Vegas. That's all they did on mine. ART pipes have built in defoulers so your car doesn't throw the code that would make you fail the test. Could also add cheap HFCs if you don't like the smell.
@@BnMGarage oh ok that's wassup good looking bro ima see into that
@@BnMGarage so I won't have a check engine light with the motordyne set up?
@@saved1777 no check engine light, and it will sound better than any other Test pipe setup. No rasp, no drone.
@@BnMGarage how much for the art pipes nd exhaust
Nice video
there is a 2013 g37 wit 62k mile for $16k. should i buy???
Hell na. Over priced.
No. Don’t do it. You can find way better cars for that price. You should only pay 9-13k for that car. At 16k you can get a 5.0 with 100 more hp and WAY better tuning potential. Trust me, I own a 08 g37 and a 2011 mustang gt. My 08 came with test pipes and intakes and barely made any significant power compared to my 5.0 with the same mods
@@wesleygriffin7857 facts. Or get a newer Infiniti w a tune and get 200+ more 🤪
Nah you could probably find a q50 for that price
thanks yall! if anything im gonna let it sit and see if i can get it for maybe $12k.but my new goal is to just save more for a q50. should i go wit the 3.0t or the 2015-14 reg. vq3.7
Yo boost are those shorty headers you put to the link to are they good?
They are commonly used in the community
Is Resonator delete any good?
How do You feel about the c2 jwt cam or tomei cams?
Depends on duration. Choppy cams are just to aggressive. I don’t know which one has a mild duration. Plus at that point you might as well up grade you valve springs
@@BoostInMotion i was going to do the complete cam kit plus full bolt on. I daily my car so F/I is not what i want.
So yeah you’ll need a mild cam
@@BoostInMotion thanks for the comeback fam ... ATL REPPIN✌
What about us Q50 3.7?
This makes me want the 3.7 coupe o have the sedan atm
Bought the coupe, to be honest one of the biggest coupes out there in terms of space for the back 2 passengers. Anyone who rides my car, complements that. All in all we want what you want, and you guys want what we have. There are times I want 4drs.
I have a 2010 G-37s convertible. I'm pushing around 380 hp. I also have a 370z I'm starting on.
Isr long tube headers remove the test pipes
Dont matter what car u modify you’ll spend stupid money 🤷♂️ . Cant expect a V4-V6 to act like a V8 when u cam it and instantly push 6-700wheel. All those mods u mentioned are bolt ons , they pretty much set u up for the future , whether u build the engine or go with a turbo on stock internals 🤷♂️
I be seein twin turbo kits bro
Is this 400 whp or to the crank
I need your glasses. Where they from my guy?
@Keep On Drifting Thank you very much!
Moral of the story..add boost and cams
Q40?
Boost can you give me a list for carb legal performance parts for a vq37hr?
Ah I also suffer from California’s bullshit carb regulations
