You have been so lucky to have found such an amazing weather in Hamburg! Generally it is always grey and cloudy. And very nice report, the hotel does indeed look stunning!

Such a gorgeous hotel! I took a peek, and it’s not prohibitively expensive. Hamburg is the 1st foreign city that I spent a substantial amount of time in-3 weeks, 25 years ago. I haven’t been back, but I was surprised by how warm and friendly the people were! I guess I need to go back. 😊

That is one sexy curvy hotel, Dr. LTE! Very impressive. Parts of it reminded me of the also curvy Guggenheim Museum in NYC. Apple crisp welcome amenity--A+. I liked your cozy room. Thank you so, so much for making this Video. Dedicated to my Hometown. I was born and raised in Hamburg. My Parents live right accrosse the Street from the Fontenay Hotel. They visited the Parkview Restaurant and they really liked it. I‘ve been at the Rooftop Bar with my Parents and I must say, we were quite dissapointed because the ambience inside is a downer in comparisson to the rest of the Hotel and it lacked of good service. Sitting outside at the Terrace though is very nice and you have stunning view over Hamburg. I‘m looking forward to the next Video about Hamburg.

Wow, dieses Hotel hatte ich für meine HH-Trips "noch nie aufm Schirm"... (war bisher eher so der Park Hyatt Typ, btw. cool, dass da alsbald auch ein Video kommt). Allein schon wg. dem tollen Pool würde ich The Fontaney gerne mal erleben. Danke für dieses Video mal wieder, du inszenierst deine Videos mit der Musik und den schönen Texten, aber vor allem mit deinem perfekten Blick auf Details und Gesamtheit von etwas Schönem immer wieder grandios!!!

Stunning, stunning that's how I can describe this hotel. By the way, could the Luxury Travel Expert try to include some of the most expensive room categories for viewers sake. I know you can be in a position to convince the management just to feature some of their most exclusive or higher room category during your stay. I thought it would be nice to widen the excitement and attractions to some viewers. Please note that this is my opinion not to compromise the well established version of this Luxury Travel Expert.

Das Hotel ist wunderschön. Womöglich würde ich 10 solcher Hotels bauen und kläglich daran scheitern und pleite gehen. Allerdings sind diese Hotels so faszinierend, dass ich es nicht bereuen würde. Wer es schafft, diese Luxus-Atmosphäre in die 3- bis 4-Sterne-Hotels zu implementieren, gewinnt die nächsten 50 Jahre. Jeder Mensch hat eine Schwäche für räumliche Schönheit.

Hi, would you consider to do a tour of some hotels in the alps, french, swizerland or italians? Because with your camera skills it would be great to see some great hotels/ chalets surrounded by snowy spectacular mountains :)

We were at the rooftop bar in June 2018, so things could have been changed.But at this time the service was really bad and they had no Pimms available, which is quite strange for a hotel of this class!

Rather you did not do closed caption. Concentrating on reading it takes one's view off the scene. It is a beautiful hotel. Would love to have seen one of the suits. The menu in English was nice of them. I doubt you would get that in France. Can you tell us the room rates and don't say if you have to ask the price you can't afford it. Getting there would be more of a problem. Lol

Just curious, do you you ever feel awkward holding up a camera in these posh places? Do you need to get permission from the hotel management/other guests?
It would be polite to ask in the first instance as many guests do not wish publicity when a camera is in the vicinity.
