It seems unreal, so beautiful and quiet, the ideal paradise to escape from the world. I hope anyone reading this will be able to afford to go there some day.
I just looked up how to visit the Maldives on a budget and it's much cheaper for a beach front hotel room/bungalow. $125 per night for some places. For an American, the airplane flight would be the most expensive part if going on a budget. Also, I would try to spend at least one night at one of the over the ocean bungalows just to have the experience and then go to the lower priced beach front hotel.

Beautiful resort. But what really impressed me was your camera work. You did an excellent job capturing the ambience of that resort. Your video panning was slow and steady and you captured most if not all of the important vistas and shots.
Best of all you didn't talk nor shove your face into every camera shot like many vloggers do. Thank you.
One minor point for possible improvement. It would have been nice to hear the ambient environmental natural sounds of the water and surf while you were there. Covering up with music not so good although the selection piece was peaceful. Thanks again.

This is the most beautiful thing I have EVER seen in my life and is the number one place I want to be in the world. You did the thing! I have been swept by a video. I will show my daughter and husband this and cry....again at how unreal this one place is. Words are not the feel as its so heaven on earth and done so well. A moment of silence........and perfect peace.
I mean this in the nicest way possible Terri - you need to get out more. This lagoon *was* one of the most beautiful things you could have ever seen, and quite cheaply too if you shopped around. Now it's an eyesore for people who's only purpose on the planet is to validate the maxim that money can't buy good taste.
@@stangoodvibes I dont have the desire to do cruise liner cruses anymore ....too many people. My husband and I just checked out exactly what it would cost to take a charter on a nicer yacht and that was too much for the week. We are just tired of wall to wall people. We go to Utah and Colorado lately. Thats always nice but that ....I saw that area after the tsunami in 2004 and that place wasnt there before it hit. But that place and everything it has to offer is much different than anything else in Maldives and just perfect for me. I have showed my husband and am soon to show my daughter. Slide or no slide is fine with me but its a burner currently burning and Im goin with or without anyone... I do love the way you film. It made me cry. The destination and the way you captured everything. Looked at your Armani tour in Dubai. Again great job. I sure hope your not payin too much for your stays. Im sure you cause business that they wouldnt have any other way. Where we goin next? Lol

Lot of the other private islands in the Maldives have similar sea and sand at around 1500 for a week but if I could throw away 15k for a weeks just lounging by the pool holiday in the sun, this would definitely be the place. It's the attention to every single detail that is staggering.

The first few minutes, I stared stunned in amazement. Then tears began to come, as I was overwhelmed with the beauty and grandeur of this place. I couldn't stop crying, as I couldn't stop watching. I found myself feeling overjoyed for those who are so blessed to see and stay at this exquisite place. I hope they will breathe in and savor every moment. Could it be possible that I could ever come here, with the love of my life?? Maybe not until I reach Heaven will I enjoy such a paradise... But Soneva Jani, which I didn't know existed until now, has become a dream I suspect my heart will not want to let go of. And I pray I do make it there someday, somehow. So relaxing and makes me feel like I am there. To relax in the evening after a long day, I live vicariously through your videos. I take a luxury plane in first class to these luxury accomodations for a mental dream holiday. Your music selection and casual walk through process is great. I wish I could win the lottery and experience in real time. Keep publishing, you get better each time with your technology and skills.
So beautiful. My wife and I stayed at Paradise Island Resort in June 2019. This makes me want to go back to the Maldives. It's just such a bloody long way to go from Canada. Still, the Maldives and Iceland are, bar none, the most breathtaking places I've seen.

A great place to meditate is a quiet secluded spot in a forest glade, not a 5 star ultra-luxurious resort that requires a horrendous carbon footprint just to get to!

Impressive as this hotel/resort is, for me it defeats the whole reason for visiting the Maldives. A simple beach villa, outdoor shower, no TV, no radio, no WiFi, a sandy beach with the waves gently washing on the sand, simple food, simple decor - that uniquely Maldivian style captures the heart. Even so, I wish the resort every success.
Also, even though I could afford it, it just is so excessive that I cannot justify it. I could do the QE 2 or leave a legacy for a child. I have enormous discretionary funds and it just goes against my soul to "burn" money like this. Love your philosophy too. Just saw "William Taudien" UA-cam where he visits the Maldives and goes to an island for $20.00 a night which was incredible for the money. How could I ever justify this !? I do love these videos though and I hope they get a lot of Saudis to keep it going. Just cannot comprehend spending 4-8K a night when I can do it for well under a 100.00 somewhere else even more remote and tranquil. I am blown away by what people pay to poison themselves with excessive food and excessive alcohol "somewhere" fancy/nice, when they could do that all at home. I am only there for the nature.
@Karamjeet Bedi I will not be presumptive BUT if you have children like I do you always consider NOT wasting money. I have been blessed and have a fortune AND I would still not piss-away money unnecessarily. "Experiencing finer things" -- I have stayed enough nights 5-star hotels to NEVER want to waste that money again. Looking back it is often marketing BS. So IMHO it is not about missing any "finer things in life." These expenditures are OFTEN quite foolish.
@Karamjeet Bedi With all due respect my friend you may well learn the hard way that men who waste money on their "beautiful wives" emotional baseless desires forever regret it. Once you get to my age you learn better. BTW many of the very inexpensive places have strong wifi, no I do not go there for TV either. To me when I look at Soneva Jane it crushes me what they have done to the land and sea. The only time I could justify it is with children who need to be fed -- even then there are many less expensive wonderful opportunities. Let the presently "affluent fools" burn their money.

It was an amazing tour to see the Bulgari Resort in Bali, I am from Caracas-Venezuela, its nice to travel this way around the world. At we all must STAY AT HOME about the CONVID-19.Thank you again for this lovely tour.

The best place for quarantine in 2020
I’ve been here before. It is a really good experience there and I really liked it there for a family vacation.

I was fortunate to spend 2 weeks at Soneva Fushi a couple of years ago. it was sublime - the closest you'll get to experience what it's like to be Richard Branson with his own island, without being Richard Branson. I appreciate the craftmanship that Sonny and Eva have bought to Jani, but .... but... without the native vegetation of Fushi, Jani feels a little 'sterile'. Fushi let you feel like Robinson Crusoe, if Crusoe had Branson-esque wealth - barefoot biking along a sandy track never fully sure exactly where you were or what was around the corner. You could dive off the bar at the end of the pier and be snorkelling the reef teeming with fish, in between cocktails. Baby reef sharks swam between us as we floated a few metres off the incredible beach. And then there was our house - so hidden away down tracks and behind hedges you could seriously start to believe you really were the only people on the island.
Good luck finding *any* of that magic on Jani. I'm sure it probably appeals to a different kind of traveller - the cashed-up tourists who want a step up from Bora Bora maybe. People who like spending holidays in what is essentially an upmarket suburban villa, plonked in the worlds biggest swimming pool. Did *no-one* else think the drone shots looked like a rather badly planned surburban residential subdivision? Complete with kids playslides? Seriously?
They made an eyesore out of one of the most stunning lagoons in the Maldives, in an environmentally friendly way of course, but still inexcusable. Thank God I got to see it before this happened.
Hey man, I love your videos. Very good production value, not to mention the locations are enchanting as well. I was wondering though, have you considered putting time stamps in the description for different sections of the tours? Like room, restaurants, facilities, etc. It would really make it easier to find particular portions that people really like.
I'd second this idea. It would be a nice touch.
Not to mention no repeats of areas already covered so that the video doesn’t have to be so long. I was constantly fast forwarding through out the video.
