  • Some have seen chess as an art, some have seen it as a science and some see it as a sport. All of those interpretations makes sense but I am sure the late World Champion Vassily Smyslov saw it as a craft. In the following positional masterpiece he displays this craft in all its beautiful simplicity. A great game and very instructive.

You could start a series called 'lies taught to beginners'.
'The lie of the bad bishop' could be an episode.
A good game for that would be: Arkell vs Kotronias 2002

Yeah, classic games and classic players are so important. I am always shocked when Magnus shows his knowledge about historical games, he knows them by heart. Nice presentation! Best way to learn and have fun!

It would be interesting if Sune could provide a reading list classic games periocally for us to look at to become better educated. Perhaps present one decision from game and a description of why the game is interesting.

Sune this one taught me so much. Please do more about technique and endings and being a chess gangster!

I often find myself in winning positions but I blunder them away in the worst possible way. I always just don’t even think one move ahead. Do you have any tips on how to fix that?

maybe start thinking more than one move ahead- checks captures threats etc
