I have always been amazed that lead weights are used in the aquarium plant industry. I get that they are easy, but hello? Lead is toxic to life! Please don’t!

Ya its weird to me too! Like we worry about everything else that we put in our tanks but lead weights NAH THOSE ARE FINE :D lets leach heavy metals into our tanks. Maybe the logic behind it is that it takes WAY longer to break it down than our tanks would be set up for.
