- Welcome to my channel, in this video we are going to be looking at #painting light in #watercolors.
When I first started using watercolors, I was using the white that came in my first set of cotman paints, think it was a Chinese white until my art teacher at college told me to use the white of the paper for the white, might sound obvious but at the age of 16 I hadn't really got a clue what I was doing. All I knew was that I was fascinated by the medium of watercolors, and I still to this day have the same fascination just know a bit more.
This video I'm using fabriano artistico 140lb rough surface paper which is an absolute joy to work on. The painting is a made up scene, which i really enjoy doing because of the freedom it allows. It's all about having fun with your brushes and paints.
